lost 1/2 an inch even though the scale hasn't moved.

With the amount I keep blowing my nose you would think I should be dropping lol.

lol which time? I have gone through nearly 2 boxes of kleenex in the last day and a half!!

(I am actually a little impressed with my mucous membranes.. I had no idea they could be so prolific!)

Sadly I gave Kerri least part of her sickness...

12 pounds down today

Boo yeah!

Should measure too but life's too crazy, and at the moment I'm aiming for the 3.5 more pounds it would take to be back to where I was when I started school in 2010.. After that all losses are pretty much 'new' ones..

LOST 5 POUNDS :D Even just lowering the amount of carbs I eat has really helped!
I just cut out bread, pasta and chips.. and don't miss them at all!

I eat french fries once a week though lol (had to cheat a little..)

Grrrrrrrr...I was dying for some chocolate last night and gave in and had a Dove bar. Today I got an explanation why. I'm starting my period AGAIN. Even though I just had one that lasted ELEVEN DAYS that just ended a week-ish ago. I hate my body :wall:

Yeah, I haven't lost any more this week...

and there is always that one little miss know it all that says things like
"You know, exercise actually helps reduce cramps! You should go for a run!"

But all I feel like doing is punching them and laying around like this..

OMG THOSE ALMONDS ARE AMAZING!!! I got those and then later I found Blue Diamond brand that is cheaper (a big bag for the same price as the can of the other).

I also found Lindt 90% cocoa dark chocolate. MMMMM! The serving size is just under half a bar, with 5 net carbs (it's a lto of chocolate!). It's slightly sweet, very smooth, and very tasty. I do think I'll get 85% next time, though. I like my chocolate just a tad sweeter. Totally hits the spot though!

I gained a couple pounds last week but lost it again over the weekend, so I'm still sitting at 30 down :D

Lost 1.5 pounds this morning!! Though one of those pounds was one I gained during my mini plateau, so really a 1/2 pound negative.

JANUARY CHECK-IN

How'd everyone else do overall for January?

I lost a total of 9 pounds!! My best week I lost 2 lbs (what I have MFP set to).
I even had my first mini plateau last week, Fri-Sun. I had a splurge day Sunday, gained an additional pound to the one I gained, but over the last two days lost that and an addition 1/2 pound (woke up to a -1.5 this morning). Also lost 4.5 inches!!

Congrats. I have no idea what I was at the beginning of Jan lol.

When I was sick the scale was stuck.. boo. But its moving again so whoot. Also I have started to get to the gym on a more regular basis and am doing the weight machines.

Does anybody else do this? The day after a good workout I feel amazing. I know my body didn't get tighter and more toned after a single workout. I know I didn't just add major amounts of strength after a single workout. But EVERY time, I feel like the biggest badass in the world.
Like I want to go around going "That's right! I could kick your ass! You, you, and you - ALL of you at once. Let's go!!"

Endorphins rock my world.
