Also a dog that fits the bill, would be a coonhound. I love mine.. she is great.. short hair/ very little shedding... she has the bay voice when she sees something she wants. Coonhounds are very very loyal dogs, they are family dogs and they are protectors. Mine is afriad of cats and squirrels...

My dog was not socialized when we got her.. so we go to the dog park 2-3 times a day.. everday.. and it really helps.. we dont have to pick her up when a wiener dog walks by. though she will be out of commision for a bit (she is getting spayed!)

this is sicking.. these dogs are great dogs.. the stupid people that have no right owning these breeds should be banned not the dogs!
