I would trade all future dogs for Mia to live forever for sure. She's the first dog I've really realized I'm going to be a freaking mess when she's gone.
Tiffany is my first dog, and just thinking about that chokes me up. I really can't imagine myself without her.

To answer the question, my ideal pack would be a Maltese, a Chinese Crested, and a small adopted mutt of some sort.

I would love to have three, but my current dogs make that a bad idea. I could see Argon convincing Gambit that they should team up and take on the newcomer, or Gambit and the newcomer being too much for Argon.

Ideal breeds? Not another coyote! I would love to have a whippet, preferably long hair, though I am going to be watching the pyrshep very closely as he grows. I would like to have an adult rescue to dabble in agility with, probably something in the herding dog family, maybe some sort of BC/ACD cross.

Ideally just Lily and the Missy cat, plus visiting her various boyfriend's often.
Lily prefers by far to be my only dog. When she gets old enough to no longer work hopefully I'll have enough $$ saved up to get her a nice Malinois or Dutchie baby boy to raise to be her successor. ;)

I like just having one or two of opposite sex, but I comfortable handling up to four dogs at a time. I'd prefer to keep it simpler than that though.

I have had packs of cats too, but I prefer just one female cat only because I prefer the girl cats and more than one cat is just too much drama for me. Freaking high maintenance cats. Luckily Missy hates other cats, so no worries about acquiring extras. And I took Missy from the barn and nursed her to health those few years back because my old Scummy cat deserves to live out her life at my parent's where she's been happy all her life. :)
