Down 24.4 pounds. Had a classmate send me a text message last night telling me I'd lost a ton of weight and she was curious what my work out routine now was. Had an SA in the ER last week who I know, but didn't 'know' come up to me and tell me I'd become half the size I was. It's gratifying to hear it..

My mom told me when I changed after class I looked really nice today, told her what I'd lost.. she told me she'd noticed, but I just looked really good today :)

Good news: March 5 I was down 18%.......last week I was down 20% HOORAY!
Bad news: Had out of town company, we entertained, went out to eat a few times, and I gained 2lbs in 3 days :(

I keep telling myself to take it slow, it's not a race, I'll have ups and downs........but it is quite discouraging nonetheless.

Boo yeah! I understand on the ups and the sad.. I had a work party, there were minimal options I could eat.. Out of hunger, eventually I caved.. Then drank later, had a nacho plate...

I've lost a touch again, you just need to get on the wagon again and move forward.

I'm happy with the outfit Coop, just I can't take a flattering self pic. No good mirrors to use ;) Thank you. It's nice to hear :)

awesome!! (to all who have lost a lot or a bit)

I have to exercise sucks lol. I always start to put weight ON when I get more active. I have been working with the horses a fair bit in this super unseasonal nice weather. Oh my the walking, walking walking. Horses always stand at the furthest corner of big fields when you want them :D

I am thinking that as I am achy sore, a good sore mind you, that its minor inflammation that is raising my weight slightly. I am definitely smaller! Sadly the fatter one is the smaller a difference a few pounds make. 33 pounds and only 2-3 sizes down. I have heard its like a paper towel roll, when the circumference is large it takes a lot of sheets to make it smaller, but when it is fairly small it doesn't take much to make it much smaller.

I am about to need a new belt :) I got this one after Xmas and it barely fit on the first hole. Its now on the last hole and isn't terribly tight.

I stopped doing low-carb (wasn't working great for me and my lifestyle) but I'm still eating mostly-healthy and have been putting in extra effort at work, lifting and the like. My clothes are fitting WAY better and I'm getting a lot of compliments... the scale hasn't moved much at all, so I assume I'm putting on muscle while burning fat.

Only down 14, but several sizes. I wore a denim dress to a book signing/reading thing in Knoxville Sunday -- one that I couldn't wear when I weighed 25 pounds less than I do right now.

Oh, and totally enjoyed being told I looked "hot" by several people, lol.

And a much older writer friend making sure she introduced her son to me (the one that even the other men talk about being so good looking :rolleyes: ) and him saying he absolutely remembered me, hanging onto my hand way too long, and describing when and where we'd met. :eek: One of those ridiculous moments in life. I seem to have a lot of those. Oh, well, it was way better than the ass groping I got in the grocery store earlier in the week.

EDIT: Got a note from Bob, who was there as well . . . evidently he saw the introduction business and he's totally enjoying tweaking me about it :eek:

3 pounds in seven days is a LOT! I am getting about a pound to two pounds a week now.

As my mom says ;) It took a while to put the weight on, it will take a while to take it off.

Well, it took me 11 weeks (and I was hoping to do it in 8, but oh well) but I'm down 20lbs. My start weight was 185lbs. We're going to keep going from here. I have no "goal weight" set, I just want to be healthy. I'd like to run with Psyche this summer and not be winded after one run. I'm up to 5k in my walk/jog and loving it.

Awesome job Shay!
I'm finally back down to my lowest weight. Took almost a week of drinking 1/2 gallon of water a day for my body to rehydrate and stop retaining. I have a goal to lose 3 more pounds by next Saturday!

Still not losing weight, but definitely gaining muscle. Went pants shopping yesterday, and I'm in a size 16 (down for real from an 18) and the 16s are a little bit roomy :D

Down 0.5#! Am now at my lowest weight for as far back as I can remember. From here on out it's all cake.

(...did someone say cake? lol)
