I cannot for the life of me make graphs on excel. Every time I do it I struggle HARD, do lots of googling, spend an insane amount of time trying, and either give up or find some guide that I follow that works (but I never memorize). Somehow I made it to senior year without ever getting the hang of it. I'm trying to do my first lab report for Ochem and need to make a graph of my data.

The graph needs to be "Boiling Point" on the Y-axis and "Molecular Weight" on the X-axis. There needs to be three lines on the graph, one for alkanes, one for alcohols, and one for ketones. We're looking at how the molecular weight of molecules in these three different groups affects the boiling point. So we need lines showing how the alkane boiling points changed with increasing molecular weight, how the alcohol boiling points changed with increasing molecular weight, and how the ketone boiling points changed with increasing molecular weight.

I've made several tables and turned them into graphs and they've all been wrong, to varying degrees (I actually got molecular weight to be my X axis and not a line on my graph once, haven't been able to do that since). Can anyone tell me how I'm supposed to plug the data into a table in order to get the graph I want?

I'm totally swamped. For some reasons one of my seminar professors assigns 300+ pages to read every week for just this one course. Plus the other 150 from my other courses I have about 450 pages to read every single week. On top of that I'm working 2 jobs..

This week has been particularly bad. My school + work hours total 62.5 for the week and I literally don't think I'm going to be able to finish the readings! Only 2 weeks in and I'm starting to get stressed!

You know, back in high school I used to almost cry because I couldn't use except and none of my teachers accepted hand drawn graphs.

There's a user on YouTube called Todd nickle, he has videos called excel for Mac and excel for windows and those were what literally got me through graphing. You can give it a try to see if it helps you?

:( I hope you are able to find the time to do it! Can you do any of it at work? Or do some multitasking somewhere?

I've got some videos for microeconomics to watch.. I'm afraid of this class already. :/

Is procrastinating a microeconomics quiz on comparative advantage. I should really do it right now since I have other things going pretty consistently the next few days... but it looks hard. And it's timed and I'm nervous.

Not a good start to this class so far. :(

I have a stupid, pointless "business dress" seminar tomorrow night. Tomorrow night is also the employee preview night for the tiger cubs. I WANT TO SEE THE BABY TIGERS, DAMMIT. Tiger preview starts at 5:30, seminar starts at 7. I get off at 5pm. I'm considering running home grabbing my dog, going to the preview for an hour, then going to the seminar.

Would it be bad to just go in my zoo clothes? Drive the point home that I'M STINKY AND DIRTY AND I DON'T GIVE A ****? :p

Laundry in the wash, clothes ready to be folded, dinner in the crock pot, lunch eaten, lecture and lab attended, Chem quiz nailed. Now moving on to that pesky Micro econ so that I can make an honest attempt at this quiz tomorrow (yeah, the same one I've been putting off since Monday).

Argh, I was hoping to get my financial aid today, but I got nothing. >_<

School stars in two days and I have no books. Darn rich people will have the bookstore sold out on at least one of my books, I just know it. Blargh, why must they give us financial aide on the same day of classes!?

We don't get our financial aid until 3-4 weeks in. They do give out bookstore vouchers though, taken out of your excess aid. But I get books on Amazon because they're MUCH cheaper (usually I can get $90 books for $5-$15).

I got one of my assignments back and it has "95" on the top and nothing else. Um, pretty sure you're supposed to tell me why I have 95 and not 200, instead of arbitrarily handing out what ever grade floats your boat. There is one word circled, "even," but it's not misspelled and it's grammatically correct, so I don't know what his problem is with that word.
