Well, you sure are arrogant and mean. How dare you call me a puppy miller! How dare you call me a backyard breeder! My website may not be pretty as yours but that doesn't make me a dog peddler! I'm not cruel to my pets! You don't even know me man! I know a lot of good breeders but none of them are as arrogant as you are. Putting people down and calling them names is not expected of highly civilized individuals. You may be a good breeder but you're not much of a person. Help me? Are you sure about that? Are you capable of doing that? Other peeps here are nice, yes they can help others like me...not you machester. All you do is brag and put people down.
A backyard breeder does not neccesarily mean you are cruel to your pets.
It means all of machesters said.
plus someone breeding just to have the experience of it with no real knowledge, just putting two dogs together, then selling the pups. A backyard breeder can love their pups too. But it is just not good practice.
A good breeder does health tests, temperment tests, knows breed standards and breeds to confirmation. A good breeder will also not have 3 or 4 different breeds of dogs. Just keeping a good supply for the demand????
I really would like to know one thing, Bowowee. Why did you ask about your dog being in heat for two days and then ask about breeding her?
If you have kennels and breed dogs, why didn't you know when and what to do? Is this your parents kennels? If so, I think alot of us would have more understanding to your situation.
And Manchesters is just Manchesters. She tells you what she thinks and does it with a flair. Dont be offended by her, she really is trying to share her experiences and knowledge. Not one to beat around the bush, so to speak.
I enjoy reading her posts and learning some of what she has to offer.
Do you sell your pups to petshops? or directly to new homes?
