Yeah. Spaying or Neutering is what you "show people" like doing to your pets who don't pass your standard of excellence. You spay or neuter the ugly ones and let the show types keep theirs. That is discrimination. If you were a dog would you like to be neutered? I don't think so! Same with ear cropping! If you were a dog would you like your ears cropped? I don't think so! Well, what if your mother cropped your ears would you like that? What if your mother vasectomized you because you're ugly and not beautiful would you like that? People like you are cruel. Stop discriminating, stop being arrogant, stop being a hypocrite.
That was the dumbest most idiotic statement I have ever read.
I breed working dogs and only certain seclect few of my "pack" are not spayed or neutered. You want to know why? Because they are unfit to be bred health wise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has nothing to do with being ugly its in the favor of future pups health examples being poor hips or eyes or personality so they do not end up with these things in the future. You are not a responsible breeder at ALL.

As I've I told everyone here. Its a question of morality. :) To you it might be the dumbest most idiotic statement, to others its not. Have you wondered why there are terrorist and suicide bombers out there? The reason for that is they don't know how to respect other peoples beliefs. When I sad those statements it went overboard because I got really pissed off from a lot of peeps who ganged up on me and called me names. I'm sorry for that.

I'm not childish or anything. I just find a couple of people here rude and arrogant. I don't think Chaz made this forum just for you guys. He also made this to help others especially those who are new to dog breeding. I you don't want to hear anything from me stop pushin me around. Defending ones honor is not childish. Its natural.

I said my piece in a couple of post already. The debate about this is endless. Have a nice day Love4Pits.

Oh, good Lord... I finally got through this thread and I'm absolutely speechless!!! Besides the 1,5085,418 other reasons to disagree... spaying/neutering is mutilation and shouldn't be done???? Guess that says it all...

Bowowee, you seem to be very mis-informed about the topic at hand. "you people are cruel"? Im sorry, I guess its not cruel to leave your dog intact and risk it getting pregnant. I guess its not cruel to see dogs euthanized because they are part of the tremendous over-population issue.

I wonder if Bowow has educated herself in the over-population problem of dogs and cats in this country? And how many are killed every day?

It was the one of the golden at the shelter. Noone claimed him so they sat him on the table(tail wagging and all) and euthanized him.

No biggy, Nedim. Probably best that I don't cry myself to sleep tonight, anyway. I couldn't be there for my Yogi's being PTS (Grammy did it for me). And Eli died peacefully while napping at Grammy's while I was out of town on business. I finally was able to do my "first" with Catfish, my 15 year old white cat. He went very peacefully but was very old and sick. I can't imagine seeing a very perfectly healthy animal wagging his tail and smiling one minute and dying the next. Probably for the better. I'm still having nightmares of the "dog trade for fur" in other countries...

The video was quite sad...but it serves a good purpose in some cases I suppose.

I cant imagine how hard it must be to let go....

what i don't understand is how someone can claim to be breeding for "betterment of the breed" and at the same time argue that spaying/neutering of those that don't quite make the cut for breeding is "discrimination".

just a few decades ago, many pups simply got culled instead of being spayed/neutered and placed in pet homes.

LMBO obviously you don't really know much about dogs or the dog world if you view spaying and neutering as vicious.

holy.. that was exhausting to read and extremely frustrating..

from the very first time she/he? posted their introduction I was suspicious.. I dunno if anyone saw my comment on how I was surprised she had three different breeds on the go.

She is a very ignorant person to say that she doesn't spay or neuter because its mean lol Obviously they have never taken a walk through a local humane society, or see strays on the street...

*completely frustrated*.. i'm done with this thread!

I wouldn't call her ignorant. It's just a different culture then ours. You can see that in several of our members who don't agree with spaying and neutering.
