I have no problem with the sign. In fact I find it hilarious. Then again my mouth not only says bitch but it also says the c word (which I really won't say here because I know how much it bothers others) when I am angry about anything including myself. I say it because I find the entire thing amusing, and it helps me to take back the language that once hurt me in the past and use it and own it as my own.

On the other hand one of my favorite pet names for Mojo happens to be "son of a bitch..." which when you think of it... he actually is!

it is in the bible. the older king james version uses it instead of donkey. i'm sure if there were female dogs referenced, it could have used that word as well!

OK. I pointed out that the word 'bitch' was a slur and that there is a valid argument that it's wrong to use it as a store name on feminist grounds. I didn't say whether that was my opinion; I was making an argument for a POV nobody here happens to hold, as I find it interesting to try to look at issues from all sides. Disagreement would be fine, but extended mockery?
