A perfect bite doesn't really matter unless you are going to be showing him in the conformation ring. As long as it is going to be functional, I wouldn't worry about it and just enjoy his cute little arse :)

He' "just" going to be a mountain dog and such. I have no plans (or time) to get into showing.

I am happy for you for the puppy. In all honestly I have concern about the car, but if anyone can make that work, I am sure you will make sure he gets plenty of exercise and stays warm enough.. I wish the whole world could have doggy sitter grandmothers. If I was closer, you know I would. Victor would bawl his head off.

Phew; I talked to her and we're going to get it all done on the 1st. That gives me some time and a paycheck to get set.

As is usual, I am having the WORST time coming up with a name. Or even a good list of names. Other than Harkness ;)

Nope, we're back to THIS SUNDAY, because next Sunday is considered to be Thanksgiving weekend and no airline is shipping unaccompanied puppies apparently.

I'll actually be at a family reunion about an hour south of Anacortes on Sunday afternoon, but am not sure if I could get away long enough to pick a puppy up at the ferry terminal. :-/ Does he have to be put on a plane on Sunday, or could he be picked up Sunday evening and put on a plane in the night or the next day?

I've been trying to interpret the ferry schedules and they're totally baffling. lol Would they hold him at the terminal? Or does he need to be picked up immediately when the ship arrives? I *think* they only do one or two runs between Sidney and Anacortes per day, but could be wrong on that.

I don't think I could be there before 5pm :( Hopefully it'll work out, or you might have to get him shipped from Canada. Either that, or maybe Doberluv is in town because she might be able to get him from the terminal and I could get him to the airport from there.

It's only going to be around $200 to ship from Vancouver, so we may just stick with that plan and have fewer elements involved?

Why can't I just have a transporter? That would make so much of this process easier, lol.
