i was just thinking the same thing LOL LOL genitalia is not what i would consider 'attractive', when i hear that word i think of that nice mansion at the end of the block or a beautiful lake... someone's private parts dont tend to enter the picture. LOL

as for 'looks' i didnt even notice that my fiance was natural until he mentioned it one day (i think there was some thing on the radio talk show about it or something ) because both look alike when they are 'ready for active duty' LOL:banana:

I didn't have a choice with braces... And while I didn't have to have permanent teeth removed for them, my brother did. Also not his choice. We were pre teens when we had our braces. I don't know many parents who'd give their kid the choice if they really needed braces.

I'm so unbelievably thankful my mom didn't let me make my own choices about everything. I would be such a mess now. Not all children are blessed with the mentality of live long and choose well until well, they grow up. I think that's why they have parents in the first place and we don't just walk out and get apartments when we turn 10.

Right, if they NEED....therefore its fixing something;) I am FINE with making those choices. My daughter was born with a club foot...yep, we casted, braced, and eventually did surgery. It sucked, she hated it, but I couldnt give her a choice on something like that.

However, even if using braces for cosmetic only purposes (which again, is rare, usually they are actually fixing an issue) the long lasting implications of having straight teeth is NOTHING compared to loosing a functioning part of a sex organ...so yes, no comparison.

I think it's ridiculous in this country how we are trying to limit people so much. Making more laws "you can't do this, you can't do that". Really? Braces for cosmetic purposes is rare? I had braces... All my siblings had them... Hubby and his sister had them not to mention so many if my friends in highschool and very few had real issues that required braces. I had four teeth removed for my braces but even still it was purely cosmetic as was the case with most of the people I knew with braces.

As for sexual issues for circumsized men... I haven't encountered any who had trouble in that area. Not saying it doesn't happen but I question how common it is

No, braces usually fix something. Even a couple crooked teeth can cause a bite alignment issue or cross a certain way inviting cavities, etc etc. Braces are SUPPOSED to fix an issue with the teeth and there are usually, and yes, mostly, reasons beyond cosmetic to fix them

And AGAIN, fixing your teeth, even if just "cosmetic" is not removing an important functioning part of a sexual organ...so yes, no comparison

Man... I wish insurance would realize that lol otherwise it wouldn't have cost so much and more would have been covered. Instead we all had to pay out of pocket because it was "cosmetic"

yeah, well dental insurance is a huge issue. My mom is a huge advocate for more issues being covered as medical. Just because insurance doesnt cover it doesnt make it non medical. I mean people have died from infections from cavities but its still not considered medical, it falls under dental.

And yes, it may not be a NECESSARY choice, the braces, but the fact is they are still to FIX something that is not right or off.

Medical insurance won't pay for anything it can get out of. They wouldn't even pay for me to get an orthodontic splint, even though the associate professor at UW said I had the most severe case of TMJ he'd ever seen. He said braces would probably help because my bite was off and that aggravated it, but good luck getting them to pay for that if they won't even pay for a splint.

Anyway, you can always undo the work braces have done if you don't like it. lol.

Just toclarify... This was in canada so it was dental insurance not strictly medical since medical is socialized medicine up there

Well leave it intact I say - it's not your body and the person that grows up in it might not appreciate abit of themselves missing when they do mature.

My brother is intact I believe (from the odd few times we saw each other in the bathroom as little kids), and some of my ex's have been...never bothered them (or at least not to my knowledge) and certainly didn't bother me :p

I don't plan to have kids - but if I did happen to have a son I'd leave him as he came into this world and allow him to make changes he saw fit to his own body on his own decision and will entirely later (apart from disfigurements, necessary surgeries that would affect his overall health etc)

I have read this and I only have one further question...

Am I the ONLY female who finds penises attractive?? I think I may be abnormal and need chopping off :D

There are pretty ones and ugly ones. I'm very much attracted to some :p others make me feel sick!

If you were the only female who found penis's attractive the human race would be in trouble.

My personal opinion is that women who go "eeewww! A penis, gross" are generally inhibited and prissy and probably think that sex in general is gross. These women are often those who feel that vulva are disgusting and something to be ashamed of. I guess I'm trying to say that its a mindset.

So yeah, while I don't find every penis attractive due to who they are attached to, I certainly find a penis attached to a man I love attractive.

I don't find a penis on it's own attractive. If I see a penis I'm not all Like "WOW that's a nice penis... good job on growing such a pretty penis" lol

But I'm not "EWWW Penis' are yucky run away from it"

so to bring this to a completely "you never wanted to know this about me" level... I find penis' sexually arousing (depending who it's attached to lol) but attractive is not the word I would use lol.

but to see a penis on it's own without consideration for who owns the penis... just the penis... I'd be kind of indifferent lol. I dont' find that there a penis on it's own to be pretty but there ARE some ugly ones out there lol. Now I could find it attractive based on the person it's attached to but all on it's own... it's kind of an odd looking piece of equipment lol



So how many times can I say penis in one post lol

I don't think penises attractive, but I certainly don't think sex is gross. Women are not as visual as men in general when it comes to sex, so I don't think it's that surprising that we can have sex with a penis yet find it strange looking.

I also don't think vaginas in general are that good looking, yet I think mine is cute and am certainly not ashamed.

Sex organs were designed for function, not fashion-pretty is as pretty does.
