I like the camping Idea, howeve, what about those who dont have a trailer or moter home? For some reason, I dont think my dad would let me take is brandnew $60K truck and 30 foot fifth wheel, half way across the country with two dogs. LOL.
If some people camp, maybe we could go there later in the day for those who are 18+ or something, and d oa day in the park for Everyone.
Will it be a one day overnight thing or over 2+ days so more people can make it?
I am in Alberta, so 12hrs from there I can travel

Accommodations will be ON YOU. Stay where you want, with whomever you want. The organization from this end (if I do it that is, I am more than willing) will be to provide a time and place to meet, nothing else. Perhaps add some "cookout" type food if you are willing.
If enough people are going to need overnight accomodations, I can call a few hotels and see if we can get a "group" rate. It will still be YOUR responsibility to call, pay and make the reservation yourself. I am simply not willing to deal with that responsibility. There are too many minors and evil lawyers are everywhere. LOL

Puck.. the only reason I mentioned the Red Roof was the cost plus the easy on/off the highway. It does have a grassy area to pot the dogs, A MacD's next door, A " dive " nearby plus other places to eat. I like to camp, but with the short stay would rather not worry about the setting up and tearing down.The more people that can stay at the same place, the merrier ! We could hang our Chaz names on the door so we'd recognize who's where. Rooms can be held on credit cards and then cancelled if something comes up . Would be nice if I could come up with a motel that had more space for the dogs to run... I've stayed at some that were great and had picnic table to boot.
I'm cool with the Ohio, PA area... The farther I have to travel the less dogs I'll bring LOL

As long as I have long enough notice for work, and I don't have any weddings or anything to attend (although this would be a good excuse to miss out on a wedding!) I'll be there

Although it would suck that we couldn't all meet each other it would be cool if we set up chaz party's in different locations. All on the same day but for those that have to drive really far perhaps those people could find a central location for them and then another group that lives in the same area find a central location and so on and just take lots of video and pictures and put them all on here when the party weekend is over. That way we won't all get to meet but everyone can say a greeting with their dogs on cam and then tape some of the party so we can see everyone
I just feel bad for those that would have to drive 8, 12 .... 36 HOURS :O for only one day. I know that is tough
