Oh YAY! The last time I tried to watch it nothing would work but now I can see! I'm looking at a herd of gazelle/antelope type things (don't know what they are) and there are some Zebras in the background.
Edit: lol I've just got to add there are these really high pitched noises, don't know whats making them and Casey has shot up from her sleep. Shes looking round the room for them as I type this hehe

If you're having problems opening the site, it could be because your computer is treating the player as a pop-up. Somebody sent me this: Open your Windows Media Player, under "File" in the top toolbar (of your Media Player) go to "Open Url". In the space in the window that comes up, copy and paste:
mms://live.wildlife.wavelit.net/451OK
Put it in "skin" mode, under "options" select always on top of other windows. Drag the corner to resize and voila, you can post and watch at the same time!
And hey, if you miss anything, go over to YouTube and do a search for Africam. Not the same as live, but what the hey, fun when there's no animals about.

Oh yeah, print screen won't screen capture streaming video for me. There's a program called MWSnap that they talked about on the Africam site that does work.

I think something is up with the cam. I swear it has been on a loop for the last 5 hours or so. I tried it earlier, this guy (don't know what he is) came on for 10 secs then it freezes, says buffering but doesn't start again.
I just tried it again now (4 hours later) and it is the exact same frame, the same guy and movements look exactly the same. It keeps buffering out.

*snort*, I was bored while the camera was down and checked out their forums. Apparently an elephant came along, dug up a pipe, and played with it for a while. Maybe they had the cam turned off while they fixed the pipe and fished half of it out of the pond?
