Here's something of interest, it's a virtual peek of an African waterhole with sound. Daytime is in color, nightime is infared. You can reduce it to your toolbar, decrease the volume, then when you hear footsteps, open the screen and see the wildlife. So far, I've seen Kudu, Impala, Wildebeast, Hyena, Zebra, some monkeys , and other small game. Enjoy!!! http://live.wildlife.wavelit.net/451OK

Howdy Tucker!!! I've been watching for a few days and a majority of the game was noted during the daytime hours; the hyenas and some sort of small "cat" appeared at nightime.

That's pretty cool!
Too bad it's night though, I didn't see anything, LOL.

Bringing this back up to say - Thanks, Gig 'Em Ags:rolleyes: . I haven't gone to bed before 10:30 since you posted this. I was even late for work today watching the antelope (?) frolic about. I've got several other people hooked, as well.

So far I've seen birds, turtles, some sort of monkey (wasn't too clear), two different types of antelope, and an elephant!

Must...make...myself...go to BED!

Howdy Boston Banker!!! The water hole web cam is indeed rather interesting, so much so, that I devote one of my computers (one of six) in my office just to observe what transpires throughout the day & night!!! Today I saw some Gemsbok come in for a drink.

As I was typing the note to Boston Banker, some Zebras, including 'lil ones, came down for a drink of water.
Argh! I turned it off, thinking, I'm really going to bed now...and I missed baby zebras??? The site needs to have a rewind button....

Are the gemsbok the ones with the black faces and no antlers? I think there are two of them headbutting now! This morning there were probably 15, including three little babies chasing each other!

Now I'm up for another hour:rolleyes:
