Howdy Boston Banker!!! Gemsbok have a black blaze on their muzzle and long rapier like antlers, perhaps you saw a Wildebeast. Addicting isn't it?

Argh! I turned it off, thinking, I'm really going to bed now...and I missed baby zebras??? The site needs to have a rewind button....

Are the gemsbok the ones with the black faces and no antlers? I think there are two of them headbutting now! This morning there were probably 15, including three little babies chasing each other!

Now I'm up for another hour:rolleyes:

I would also like to THANK YOU for posting this link. I love it and am sooooo addicted! I have my Windows Media Player set up so it is always displayed in a little box on the bottom right of my screen while I'm doing other things. When I see activity I want to check out more I just restore it to full size. I get so disappointed when it's quiet and there are no animals around.

Howdy Love My Knees!!! Glad to know you fellows are enjoying the web cam. After you open the site, just use the minimize "button" in the upper right corner but leave the volume on to hear approaching animals, then re-open to view. I've been using my laptop with the site on while sleeping to hear the sound effects---it's quite relaxing---it's like camping out inside your house!!!

How can you set it up when its like that? That'd be useful for me :D

This is neat! I have the mini-toolbar going right now. No animals yet, but I'm hopeful!

To be perfectly honest I'm not quite sure. I just closed it and then went back to the site to see if the options came up again and they didn't. All I remember is that when I went to minimize it some options came up and I took a chance and said yes or OK. Now when I minimize the full screen it goes to the mini box. Can you tell I'm not the most PC literate user!:lol-sign: Sorry I couldn't be more help.

This evening i was so tired i just retired to the sofa, left the sound on and dozed. I heard water splashing so i opened my eyes and there was a bull elephant getting a long drink. He had some pretty nice tusks too. All by himself, he didn't stay long but still i was thrilled. IT was different then if you saw it on per say a a National Geo special. I am looking forward to the dawn. I figure that will be around 10 tonight since sundown was around ten this morning.

I actually made myself go to bed at 9:30 last night, so I didn't see anything but the elephant. It was really close to the camera! Much clearer than the last one I saw.

I still want to see a giraffe!
