Okay, I pay for my healthcare in the US, and I still seem to wait hours in a waiting room somewhere. The last time I was in an emergency room waiting with my 5 year old son for a severe rash. Not only was the wait unbelievable, but the doctor wrote me two prescriptions... one for hydro cortisone cream which the type wasn't a prescription med... it was over the counter... the pharmasist gave me a tube off the shelf. Then to top that off the ER doctor gave my 44 lbs son a prescrip for a antihistimine and the dosage he prescribed was more than twice that for a child.
Anyone, anywhere receiving health care should research and be their own "voice of reason" !! If you don't think something is right... ask, question it.
You don't always "pay for what you get".
Oh, and just to make it clear the "other people" mentioned are included in my handfull of least favorite people.
