Ohhh ya sorry I forgot to add that .... here I'll add this too while I'm at it ...

That Died for YOUR Freedom
Died for my freedom?

*All Hail the US for my freedom*
No one here sees the US as our savior. So don't go think you're something better.

My great grandfather died for our families freedom. He went into the war to protect his wife and children. He was killed by a bomb that came from an american military plane on the German Airbase - a day before the war ended.

Heheh . . . Gipsy, Dizzy . . . people are people no matter where there are, what language they speak, what pigment their skin is . . . and there are always going to be irrational, chauvinistic, extremist nutcases, and as long as there are some of us who really do believe strongly that true freedom belongs to everyone, they get to say their piece too. It's just up to the listener to decide whether or not to give them any credence. There will always be some of those kind around - just like there are always going to be backyard breeders. ;)

Under a Rock in the USA!
Listen,

If you think I'm gonna appoligize for how, when and why my country (United States of America) became great ... your sadly mistaken. I will never.

Call is extremist if you like, what ever makes you happy.

I don't expect you to appologize that your country... 'became better than others' I just want you to open your eyes and look at the USA from a different point of view.
Is it great that in the middle East there are hunderds of people dieing because of America, German, British and what ever other country is of over there's soldiers?

Is is great that Vietnam was totally pulverized because of the Americans?

Is it great that hundreds of cities and people in Europe were literly pulverized?

Is it great? Can you be proud of that? :(

Seems silly to get all upset because everyone in the world doesn't share your opinion of the country you live in. Every country has its good points and bad points.

You know what, no matter which country you live in, its still on planet earth. Which we all share. maybe if people would stop thinking so much about which country they live in and which is better or worse and started thinking more along the lines of we live on Earth, the human race spend less time working so hard at ruining it.

I don't know if this was directed at me, or not. But if it was - I just felt the need to say something because I was irked a little anyways. I was talking to My great grandmother who lost her husband in the 2. World War and she was crying and saying that she thought, that she was going to join her husband soon. And that if it hadn't been for that day... that she would have never have lost him. I guess this morning made me a little emotionaly unstable, because I don't want to loose her. :(
It also irks me that some people can't open theirs - or they just don't want to see that their country wasn't all good all the time. I hate our country sometimes because of Hitler, and because of all those people that had to die because of that. - I would never say that my country is better than all other.

I do however appologize for starting a small debat about things that are over, most of you know that I ushally hold my tongue... :(

Of course you wouldn't.

Most people have a balanced view, have empathy, have understanding.

Most people are proud of their own country, of course, people need to have identity, but when it steps over the mark, it becomes arrogance. And that full on arrogance soon becomes obsession.

And obsession is what leads to extremism, war, racism, hooliganism and hatred.

I was pondering what to say about all this... and I could not have said it better than this. I whole heartedly agree with you. :hail::hail::hail:
