Ahh boo, you two!:p Come live with me for a winter:lol-sign: :D
I'm not sure in what part of Canada you live but I lived in New Brunswick and the weather in Maine and NB are pretty much the same. Unless you live in northern Ontario I bet our winters are pretty similar.

This morning, it took me more than 1.5 hours to commute a 20 mile distance to work! I live in California and love everything about it EXCEPT for the traffic! For days like today, I wish I live in the middle of nowhere where I don't have to endure the daily horrible traffic jam!

So, is there anything you absolutely hate about where you live?
Traffic, real estate prices and the "I'm better than you" attitude from the majority of those that commute dozens of miles to work where I live.

I love where I live. The thing I hate about it is that so many other people have such a low opinion of it. The people who live here in the past two decades have gone from huge home-town rah rah we rule boosters to a bunch of whining sad sacks complaining about how much it sucks. I have no idea what happened. The city itself has only gotten better in the past two decades, yet the people in it have only gotten whinier. And people from other parts of the country who have never been here and don't know anything about it like to use it as the butt of their jokes, which most of the time don't even make any sense if you know anything at all about my town (ie, making a joke about Pittsburgh being dirty or smokey? Makes no sense, we haven't had heavy industry here in 30 years, it's like making a joke about Washington DC being a swampy one horse town).

People can't drive. Every year as the new Freshman and parents come in it turns into a nightmare driving as people get used to the town and do quick lane changes, turns, etc.

But even during the year people still can't drive.
That was going to be mine!

In College Station, NO ONE can drive and no one pays attention to crosswalks.

I also hate that the construction on Texas Ave is different every year with different lanes closed, yet they never get anywhere on it and it's still not going to be done until after I graduate.

Oh! And the people who don't figure out that most places the turn lane goes into their own lane! You can always tell the newbies....

That and there's nothing to do here. Hmmm... movies or mall? I'm a city girl, College Station is too country for me. That and the town revolves around school... good but makes it get REALLY old REALLY fast.

Honestly, I love Edmond. The only thing I don't like is that it's in Oklahoma instead of Texas.

Just the fact that there are too many people for such a small island, can't wait to move up North to the Scottish highlands!

Also forgot to mention a town of our size where 46,000 + people are college students gets interesting....

I mean, I'm not even figuring in Blinn. How many people go there?

I knew I had arrived in LA when I got a coupon for $50 off a breast enhancement -- IN MY VALPACK. You know, those envelopes of coupons that come in the mail? There it was, stuck between the tire ad and the carpet cleaners. $50 off a breast enhancement.

I hate the superficiality, in addition to the traffic. I also do miss having seasons. On the other hand, I went to the movies this weekend. In attendance at the same theater were Henry Winkler, Marg Helgenberger, and Jaclyn Smith. Crazy.

I cannot STAND Ohio's weather, I hate that the state is anti pit bull. I hate my city, AC is majorly anti pit bull, and all the people around me are ignorant. Can't wait to MOVE!
EDIT One more thing. The whole city I live in over the past 5 years has turned straight ghetto everywhere you go. It's rediculous.
