Oooo! That's exciting! I've been eyeballing one forever! We have a wobble disc, but it's not the same. I'd love to see how it turns out! :)
I will post pictures and such when I'm done! Should be pretty easy. Just get a precut table top from Home Depot for about $14, then cut a tennis ball in half and glue it on in the center. Put a mat on the top or paint for traction and done!

Great idea with the table top. I was lazy and bought a little plastic one. It works okay, but an actual board would be better!

Bad as in my prices are way off or bad is in dangerous for you because you don't need to make one? :D
Well I didn't see the $14 round, but they have a 36" for $30, $8 for a soft ball, $7 for a bottle of spray on traction and my SO more than likely has something to attach them. The 36" FitPaws is $160..... This would cost $45....... This is bad.

(You can never have enough dog gym stuff right?)

FitPAWS is so expensive. But I am so addicted to their products and lazy and don't have the space or tools to make my own.. Right now I have the targets, paw pods, and the larger disc.

I just ordered the fitbone and the donut/holder!!! I couldn't pass up the sale and have been wanting these for awhile now. I should be all set now until I get a house as far as my dog gym goes, so that is a nice feeling that I won't feel inclined to buy more for awhile =)

1/3 the price? Do it!

I cheated with Mimi and bought an exercise peanut for a person, Sivan I think is the brand? I think it was less than $20 and it holds up great to M. I just make sure I keep her nails dremeled, just in case.

So you will probably not believe what I am about to tell you.... but I bought the 70cm FitPaws Peanut, unused, on CL for..... $18. And the lady was down the street from our house. I can't even believe that! These things don't happen!! HaHa.

I have a decent gym set up, but my list of dog wants is like 5 miles long... so I'm always looking for deals on things. :p

^^^ I think I have the same one.
Works just fine for my 4! (Okay maybe not Cobain just yet, but that's because he is sort of an oaf)

My dad made a wobble board out of some plywood and I think a fence topper decoration thing, was pretty cheap. Works great. He also made me a teeter, weaves, flyball box & jumps, and a set of agility jumps....I think I might have to pack him with me when I move lol

Do any of you guys' dogs chew on marrow bones and break off little pieces? I give them the stuffed ones and both Sam and Wilson will chew on them and break off little pieces and I just feel like that can't be good for their teeth so I keep having to take them away...

A friend of mine put me down as a reference on his application for a dog. It was a super short, easy, phone call, until she asked "would you trust him with your dog", at which point I busted out laughing. Which I think was not the expected response. I tried to clarify that in 9 years, I have left my older dog a grand total of 4 nights, because I trust NOBODY with my dogs. But that I'd trust him as much as anyone. She also asked if he was a confident person, which I'm still confused by. I'm not sure what the right or wrong answer would be there.

Some bones my guys can break up (and like you, I take them away - I worry more about swallowing pieces), and some hold up forever. Always the same brand too.

Hank makes me feel like a cheater when I train. It's just too easy.

Of course he humbles me with lack of recall and inability to LLW.

Give and take I suppose.

EDIT: He did ONE session on odor and is doing exterior searches WELL on just odor. I decided to do his nosework by myself since it's 12 WEEKS to get onto odor at the local classes. I didn't even bother Hank with food, just started straight on odor.

What??? Lucky!

I have checked craigslist numerous times and they have never had FitPaws equipment on there. :(

I think I had looked at the 20". Well, went in store and they don't stock them! Boo! So I got glue and an adhesive. Will have to order online.

ETA: sold out online. Well snap.
