Can you bring a crate for Walter to wait in between his turns? I rarely let my dogs be held on leash around other dogs running agility, unless I know the group well (or at trials where I think there's a pretty good chance the dogs aren't going to leave the ring). Classes/seminars - they are crated if they aren't running. Even if I'm the only one who brings in a crate.
This.

Well I don't like their practice time. I could make it but it would cut into other things. On the other hand, I think Hank would enjoy it.

Dog got into cat kibble again by getting out of laundry room and running downstairs to eat it.

I lost my **** and started screaming that I wont clean up any more explosive friskies-****. I AM DONE. IT IS DISGUSTING AND PERMANENTLY STAINED THE CARPET AND THE COUCH.

I shut him outside and fed him hydrogen peroxide until he puked up the whole cup of kibble. I have 1-6 cuts on every finger from holding his mouth open.I had to bathe him outside because his face and feet were caked with vomit.

I now have a wet dog shivering in his crate, right by a heat vent.

I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE. WHY CAN'T WE MOVE THE CAT FOOD. WHY. IT IS SO ****ING PREVENTABLE. SO. ****ING. PREVENTABLE. JUST PUT IT SOMEWHERE UP HIGH. I HAVE EVEN PROVIDED A LIST OF MIDDIE-PROOF PLACES, AND HE DOESN'T WANT TO PUT IT THERE BUT CAN'T PROVIDE A REASON.

ORANGE, EXPLOSIVE, FRISKIES **** IS NOT FUNNY. I can't put a muzzle on him because he has to drink water..

Save me! I can't go anywhere in the house without fear of my life that Leo is going to rebound off of me out of nowhere. I am so regretting teaching him a rebound now :rofl1:

He has decided that every time he is confused about what I want, his default behavior is going to be a rebound. It doesn't matter if I am standing, kneeling or sitting, whether I am actively training or completely not paying attention to him.
Just today, he has rebounded off of me completely unprompted 5 times. FIVE! Only two of them were in the "right" spot. Once he rebounded off of my stomach, once off of my boobs (ouch!) and once off of my shoulders.

Get it together dog! I DO NOT WANT A REBOUND!!! Your claws hurt!

HE JUST REBOUNDED OFF OF MY FACE!

No more training sessions for you, dog. I am never teaching you anything new ever again!

Help? Anybody know how I can get him to stop offering a rebound at everything? I seriously can't clicker train him anymore, because it is the first, middle and last thing he tries.

Thirded. I always crate Squash at agility and I am the only person who brings one but oh well. There's a starer in our class and he frequently annoys the other dogs who are waiting for their turns... not my Squashies.

So about half the people love Hank's name and the other half are like 'oh god please change that poor dog's name!'

Lol. I think it's stuck.

I am so, so very sorry. This was my family before I moved, and Briz didn't get horrid poo, but I couldn't keep his weight down and he's allergic to poultry. Despite my two dozen suggested dog-proof places to keep it, they still insisted that the cat food be kept on the floor and that the dog should just somehow learn not to eat food. I tried an indoor invisible fence thing for a while, but it made Briz even more nervous so I finally just started crating him whenever I left. I can't remember exactly which product I had, but here's something like it:http://m.petco.com/product/12531/Pe.../Dog-Indoor-Control-and-Boundary-Systems.aspx

The more I have Hank, the more I think he's more terrier than cattle dog but either way he's cool. If I could swing a fourth (and ya know... not JUST gotten Hank) I'd totally get his Big Me. They are so similar in markings and color, it's crazy! Same shelter too.

I think somebody told me that in order to have the color/coat of a cattle dog...they had to be at least half cattle dog. Does anyone know if there's any truth to that?
