And pitbull folks wonder why they have a bad reputation!
Let's start out with the basic disclaimer - yes I know they're not all bad, blah blah blah - but I met a nasty one this morning - INSIDE MY HOUSE.
I wake up to my dogs going nuts in their crates. Then I hear my oldest child scream and run into his room. I went to investigate, and was chased back into my room by a little red pitbull and his/her blue pit buddy. The blue pit was actually fairly friendly, but the red one not only tried to attack my son, but came after me! :yikes: Yes you read it right, IN MY HOUSE.
So the little puke has me and my kids pinned in the bedrooms, and I can't get to my phone. So I grabbed a curtain rod and my 9mm. I really didn't want to have to shoot it (to be honest, I couldn't care less if I had killed it this morning, but was more concerned with where the bullet would end up after exiting it), but I had to literally beat it out my back door with it snarling at every step. I get it out the back door and slam it, grab the phone and call animal control.
Who still hasn't showed up, and they dug their way out from under my fence and took off and terrorized another neighbor 2 doors down. They had to have come through the back yard, none of my gates were open though, so they either dug under or jumped it.
Ugh, if I ever see it in my yard/house again, I have a 9mm with it's name on it.
