To me all dogs are cute. It is just not enough reason to breed them willy nilly. I hope you educate yourself on this issue and make the dest decision based on all the information out there. Please, think really carefully before supporting any BYB.

well i think they look ok, but everyone has different oppinions of which breed they like the best, i like border terriers but not everyone else does.
(i really like yorkiepoos! Yorkshire terriers x poodle 2 of my fav breeds)

A border terrier is a breed though. A yorkie poo is not. None of the pups of any 2 purebreeds mixed together is a breed. Plain and simple.

A mini Saint Bernard!?

What gets me about that is that they specifically say that the Mini St.Bernard ha sabsolutely no St.Bernard in him. So then how can it have that name in teh breed title? Makes no sense. It doesn't even look like a mini St.Bernard. I see a little basset hound maybe but it's nothing more then a mutt for real.

I also found it funny that they said this on the contact page:
"We encourage you to seek your specific
breed at your local shelter before
purchasing one from a breeder."

I am completly against breeding mixes but how will bashing help? Education is the key. Most dont care, but some do learn. Name calling and such wont help anything.

I did some of both. I posted as many facts as I could find from various sites...including shelters, some doodle breeders that actually told the truth about their dogs...hybrid vigor...defined hybrid, etc.
When the facts didn't work, name calling started (through pm's) so it got out of hand for a bit...now it's back to the facts.

Unless you've registered at the site, how do you know what I did or didn't say that may or may not have been bashing?

Personally , I see no need for bashing a person who wants a Beagle/ pug mix. There are plenty at rescues and at the HS .....go get one for $100 to $250 . Why pay for a "Puggle " at $500 or more ? I'm sorry that my Ollie I just got from the HS was neutered.... gee he's great !! I'm not sure if he's Golden/ Chessie ... golden/poodle /chessie / Lab or what ! I'm sure I'd make a million if I had the first Gopochlab ..... ( kidding of course ! ) I see that my vet listed him as a Goldenoodle .... believe me that will change !! They got that from the Petfinder's quote. I will never have a designer dog.!! Any mixed breed is a mutt unless F4 in my eyes.
