Real prety golden you go there. I never saw one shaved! Hope this dog can get you where you need to be. Congrats on your new dog!
Thanks! I remember what you said a couple of years ago that two dogs can be better than one as far as keeping the one out of trouble and it can work the reverse as two of them can be more than twice the trouble.

I have found this to be true in both cases here. Hank has been handy teaching Buckshot recall. When I call them Hank comes running to the house and Buckshot is afraid that Hank is going to get something, so he actually puts a little trot in his step when I call him now. Together they have yet to venture past their allowed area. That issue was my main concern.

I use Buckshot to train Hank on normal commands. Hank sees Buckshot do it and get a cookie so then he does it. Buckshot makes sure that he follows instructions to the letter so that Hank doesn't get the treat first. So having him has helped in some areas. In other areas Hank has made more hassle. He isnt house broken, he was crate trained and at a year and a half old I am starting to worry if I'm going to be able to get my point across. I dont like confining him, I want him to be able to roam the house like Buckshot.

'Boutdamntime you got this posted, lol!

Now, here's your public welcome to the Dark Side. Every Fila should have their own APBT. They go together like peanut butter and jelly, Green Hornet and Kato, Yogi and BooBoo . . . earthquakes and aftershocks :rofl1:

Hank really wants to be Buckshots sidekick, but something is missing. I dont think Buckshot knows that he needs a sidekick yet. He is used to being the superstar and Im not sure he enjoys sharing the limelight any more than he likes sharing beef hearts.

You have to catch Buckshot enjoying Hanky when he thinks you're not looking. He hasn't been outed yet ;) Or figured out how to frame Hank for stuff, lol.

Once I caught Kharma being sweet to Tallulah she knew she was busted and quit putting on the "go 'way kid, you bother me" act. 'Lullah still bothers her, but she enjoys getting an excuse to give someone sh1t. She also kinda likes it when Tallulah snuggles up to her. But she'd rather die a thousand deaths than have me say anything about it, lol!

LMAO!

That sounds a lot like Ares...he won't admit to liking anyone. But now that I've caught him snuggling up to Morgan a few times, he's started letting his guard down. He also trusts me to keep his secret. :p

*hopes he hasn't learned to read*

Finally! Renee told me about your new addition and I was wondering if it was just a dream she had or something! :D

And he's a handsome Hank!

But being the 'pit bull' person that I am, I never suggest leaving them unattended when you are not home or unable to supervise them. ;)

Oh, it's nice having Bimmer and/or Kharma to supervise Lilshit when I'm gone, lol. It's rare that she gets into anything anymore.

I do make certain of doing things like putting my shoes away and not leaving food on the counters. That would be asking way too much, lol.

First off I'd like to say he's a pretty dog.

But secondly, I don't like the way you presented him. As someone whose vision is 20/100 on a good day, and 20/200 on a not so good day, I take offense to the fact that you don't believe people who are legally blind can identify their own dogs. I have 3 dogs. I know all of their breeds. I even show one of them from time to time. I also know several other people that can't see well and they can identify the dogs' breed, once they've met it in person.

To me the way you presented this dog made me think that you thought less of people with vision problems. That may not be how you intended it to come across, and most other people probably wouldn't agree with me either, but that is how I felt when I read your post.

I don't want to start an argument. I just want to make sure my opinion is heard and I hope that others will think before they post something that may offend others.

Well your lack of humor offends me. I dont want to argue either I just want humorless people to have some consideration for the rest of us. I dont think less of people with vision problems, I do think less of grouches. My vision isnt all that great anymore but I can laugh at it just like my failing memory.

Words of wisdom right there. I have to get a bomb proof shelter/enclosure made for him when Im not home. He seems to have a taste for drywall. Buckshot has gotten a little rough with him a couple of times and Hank dealt with it like a gentleman. In all honesty I trust Hank with strangers and other dogs more than I do Buckshot. As it is he gets crated in a large crate for 8 hours on one day and 4-6 on another. Other than that he has us around him 24-7

I am sorry that I don't find it humorous, but after being made fun of for the last 28 years of my life because of my vision it kind of starts to hurt after awhile.
