Smkie, never knew about the bitter apple gel; I'll be going out to get some. I'm spraying the bottom of my kitchen cabinets daily since they are Kona's favorite chew toys!

Sorry for not keeping you up to date, hostage crisis in the Phillipines.

Rocky is still caughing and has mucus around his nose but hes coming home with me in a day or two.

Don't know if you can say so or not, but if you got sent down there, glad you're back safely.

Happy to hear Rocky's on the mend as well. Poor little guy. What a way to start life. I'm sure you're going to make certain the rest of his life is great though.

I hope you get a chance to go see Rocky. He really will heal faster. Animals who feel abandoned can give up . . .

he must have a strong strain of somthing..has the doc said exactly what he has? what anitbiotics are they giving him...I am curious about all medical things if you have the time.

how did he look? has he lost any weight or gained..is his coat better or still dry looking? why do they feel he still has a cough and mucus around his nose! He must have one he11 of an infection. Are they going to keep him on a dose when he returns to you? Have they told you exactly what he has..and is that what the akita had..if u don't want to answer my inquiring mind i wont take offense.. I am just trying to learn about this. I have never heard of a puppy being sick with a respitory this long, but i have been out of the loop for a long time. after leaving the kennel i worked as a cna, and went thru emt classes..then i worked with the drug and alcohol rehab veterans and the mentally retarded...i have a terrible curiosty about all living things..if this is the kind of infections that puppies are coming in with.it would be good to have a complete understanding of it so the next person that comes along will know what signs to look for so they don't end up going thru this too.

Yayy!!!!!!!!!!!! I GOT ROCKY BACK AND HES CRAZY LOL! I'm so happy, hes chewing EVERYTHING, my pants, his toys, hes still peeing in the right spot! He's so active hes running around everywhere. I LOVE HIM!!! THANKS EVERYONE!!! He's still got a tiny caugh, so I'm going to be giving him Chloro for like 2-3 days, and he should be good to go!!!! I took some pictures, uploading them now!
