Just a matter of time

Its actually a good thing that I did not remain a hardware tech . . . the job basically doesn't exist any more. I think I know more about hardware than our IT people here at the firm . . . if the hardware breaks, they just send the computer to Dell and forget about it. They only do software!
And, of course, I don't have to see naked fat people.

While I know its her choice, if she wanst to eat herself to death then so be it but 2 things really bother me.
1. She has children! Her priorities should be to them first. One of the things I'm proudest of my mum for is quitting smokeing 4 years ago after my sister turned around and said "you relise if you die, I don't have anyone?"
2. I can't stand it when people drain the planets resources unnecessarily. Its so wasteful to be eating so much more than you need.

I think its disgusting but more than that I think its sad. I worry about her children and what their mother's choice in life will cause them to suffer and endure. 
And yes it does make me angry. It makes me angry when I see anyone abusing children in any way. The thought of the emotional scars this will leave on those kids is devasting.

Ya, that you did. Don't feel bad. There's a lot of pretty small towns back East ... if she reaches her goal she can qualify for her own zip code.
On the fat lady wanting to be fatter (fattest?) ... ummmm, whatever for her if she wants to eat herself to death to get in some record book.
This bugged me though:
So she's saying what? Her 3 yr. old is impeding her dubious goal?!? (Article said the children are a 3 yr. old daughter and 14 yr. old son.) And how is she "running" after a 3 yr. old while she's already over 600 lbs.?
The 14 yr. old is the more likely one running after his little sister .. and running a lot of other errands for his extremely misguided mother. Both those kids should be taken away from her and turned over to a SANE relative for their care.

I am very close with a morbidly obese lady and this just sickens me. Watching her struggle to get out of her situation and someone wants to eat themselves farther into it? And she just isn't harming herself. She's harming others as well.
Doesn't this classify as insanity and suicidal? She has a death wish.

No it doesn't. That's what my friend is losing weight for right now and it scares me to death that she may not make it. She's over 400lbs at the age of 20 right now. She is the sweetest, most caring person I know and she doesn't even like leaving the house anymore because quite literally she is the only person of her size and age I have ever seen in the Vancouver area. Not saying there aren't others but it is not common (which I am grateful for that people aren't struggling with it) and people torment her to no end. It's horrible. Throwing food at her, calling her names.
