Riley is generally pretty good unless there are small furry animals around. I would never let him off at a park as he is squirral obsessed, and would chase deer. Pretty good prey drive. He has gotten tons better in the past couple years. He has always been good, but now really great. If i take him to work, i dont need a leash to walk him from the car, through the clinic and into the kennel, or back out. Never need a leash if a car is involved as his favorite thing is a ride. So i guess i would say yes, i have a dog with a good recall, but i dont purposelly set him up to fail or get hurt.
