Sin is a human condition. Lucifer is not Human.
I thought he was a cat. :D

Anyway, all of your arguments have been intresting.

One thing that was stuck with me is this-

When I was doing my EMT-clinicals to get my EMT certs last summer, I was doing my rotation in the ER. The ER doc knew I wast particularly religious, but he walks up to me and says, "You may not believe in God, but youre carrying out His work. God has given you the gift to heal." Basically it was his way of saying that I was doing an excellent job doing my stuff in the ER, but it humbled me a bit for him to say that. (I was assisting the nurses with meds and asessments.) He invited me back to work with him anytime I was ready to work in an ER.

Anyway, I thought I would just throw that in. :)

Here is where you expose yourself... You don't WANT to follow those rules, so you are kinda rebelling against them. Not uncommon. Do you REALLY think that if we were not taught that it is wrong, that it would be OK? Don't male dogs get defensive when other male dogs come around "their" bitch? Or how about the primates in nature that mate for life?

There ARE moral absolutes in this world and it is not a coincidence. Like it or not.
Who says I don't want to follow them? I would never cheat on my lady.

But if it weren't ingrained into our heads since birth then adultery rates would be up.

And yes, animals are defensive of their mates. But your argument is defeated when you consider cattle. Bulls have multiple mates. They mate several cows in the pen and feel no loyalty to any individual one. They'll protect them, sure, but only because they're his property. Women aren't man's property in the civilized world because that's what's been installed into our belief system. Take Arabian countries for example. Women are property over there. In USA? Nope.

It's all about what you've been taught to believe and been around for your entire life.

And because I can only quote one sentence at a time without going through a lot of effort I'll just recap it:

the voice in your head is god
Not quite. Or at least I don't think so. To me the voice is just that nagging bit of conscience that says "maybe you shouldn't really eat 6 packets of Skittles, it's not healthy" and then I grudgingly go "fine...I'll eat apples".
I don't think God is concerned about whether I eat Skittles are not.

That's just predispositions I have due to knowledge I've gained. I know Skittles are unhealthy yet tasty. So it's a battle with what I want to do and what I know is bad/good for me.

I beg to differ, but I think neither of us will get anywhere going farther with this. Unless, of course, you want to. :)

Animals was a bad example. I knew I could get spanked on that one, but I did it anyway. Nice work. :)

God gave us dominion over the Animals for a reason.

Perhaps, but it seems to work. The "average" belief system in the US, is more or less based on Judeo-Christian principles. Look at how successful we are. Now, look at the belief systems in Arabic countries.... Look at the belief system of African Tribals...

Coincidence?

Look at the belief system of Japan.....look at the belief system of China (which is very rapidly becoming a superpower).

The highest Christian concentration in that portion of the world (West Asia) is in South Korea with about 6 million members.
