Have you gone on petfinder and entered catahoula, if you extend the search range to national it will show if there are catahoulas in areas you may not have checked if he got far, that is if he simply wandered and wasn't stolen.

Hmm sounds like you have thought of and done everything. Poor puppy. I hope so badly you get him back. Maybe if he was stolen (not by your neighor but someone else) and was the monster you said he could sometimes be the person will return him. Wishful thinking always helps.

Jess, have u been checking local craigslists?

There are always lost dogs on them.... i dont know where in north carolina you live, but the charlotte area craigslist has some missing dogs listed, at least one does not list the breed for ID purposes.

Jess... I check in every morning, during the day and everynight . I really feel at this point he could have been stolen . Are there any vet schools or labs in your area ?? Have any other dogs disappeared ?? Are there any local TV stations or newspapers you could contact .?? Not knowing is the worst... I feel you've probably have done all you can . I agree, not knowing is the hardest ... I can deal with black and white ... but not grey . Again , my prayers are with you and ZyZY will be in my prayers..... more intently and with and through Ollie and my Goldens above.

yep, called, went by left missing posters on bulletin boards....everything...

Sounds like you've done everything you possibly can. I would be besides myself if one of my pups went missing...our hopes and thoughts are with you and your pup.

instead of catahoula being what you typed in on petfinder have you tried thinking of all the different kinds of dogs they could have mislabeled him as? they're not always that great at identifying breeds.

EDIT:you should call some vet clinics in the neigboring states you never know if someone would have left state with Zy,And put it in the news papper of surround states,citys,etc. you never know maby someone will see him

By this time, I think some one stole her. I doubt she'd last this long alone. Are there busy syreets nearby?

Also, do you leave your other dog out now that this happened? Because we dont, were all paranoid ever since our old dog got out.
