DO NOT BLAME YOURSELF. You are a responsible dog owner and a great mom to Chloe. Remember when people wrote those letters of reference for you when you were trying to adopt Charlie? I don't think that anyone would have done that if they did not feel you were a good responsible dog owner.
I too am of the opinion that Zyzy was probably stolen. It just doesn't fit that in the 30 minutes that he was alone that he would untie himself and let himself out the gate. I think the only person to blame in this scenario is the person that took him!!
I too have that sinking feeling that he might have been stolen. But if he was someone will notice and hopefully call you with information. As long as you can prove with paperwork that you adopted him you can get him back. I hope that everyone who has that feeling he was taken is wrong. I can't imagine a person who has a brain would take a dog out of someone elses yard and take it home to be THEIR pet. I'm thinking more like a small child would have done it.
But don't beat yourself up over this. We're all hoping he'll come home soon and you've done everything that a responsible per owner would do if their pet went missing. Try not to blame yourself and instead think positive that he will return home safe and sound. *still praying*

I did not know that his leash was gone too :yikes: !!!!!!!! That almost certianly tells you that some one stole him!!!!!

i know you probably have gone to fido finder and such sites, but if i were you i would keep checking back, it just cant hurt. Do you have a lost dog registery in your area? I am sure you have called all local vets but i would send out e-mails with his pics (you have prolly done this already too, just trying to think of things that help) to all the vets in your state. Your in my heart and thoughts, zy, it's time to come home.
