WE have been to town, had our shots, and been wormed yet again. I hope this does the trick. COme back in 2 weeks. Only it will be four returning, not 5. She wormed them for tapes as well because they were loaded with flea when they came in.

My friend is learning how to do felting. WHile we were there she had brought for us a bag of combed wool and needles and took a little time to show us how to get started. SHe thought Hyia might like to make the kittens toys. She gave me a ball that she made. I came home and gave it to Ressie first. She was beyond thrilled. Right up until Ninja came grabbed it and shot under the sofa. I have now spent a half hour looking for it and can't find where she hid it. So you know what we will be doing tonight. No time like the present to make some more. Hyia can make Columbus a going away present. Should be dry in time.
These are two she has just started on. I was very impressed.

Awesome felt work, that is amazing. Also ......CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!! Those pics are really too much:D Ressie's reminds me of Vixey from Fox and the Hound when she swishes her tail around her.

It's fun for me, I do consider it my other art, between the kittens and the garden I use my camera at least one session a day and if the human babies are here, I can't resist that either. THe video part of my camera has apparently decided at least sound wise to give up the ghost. So if you want to see poor Snacho get his feelings hurt, turn the sound down on this vid. I am also trying to get that one photo that would pluck someone's heartstrings and make them love these babies as much as I do. IT's all I know to do. I post these pics on my face book page and ask that they be shared. Two have been lucky so far but I still have three to go. It's raining kittens at the shelter. I am sure all are precious, but these are mine and I want to give them my absolute best.
Sorry about the sound..if I can't find what is wrong, or at least make it mute while it records this will be the last vid.

Again with the eye mystery. Everybody else has decided on what they want to be. Here is her new 10 cent table thrift store toy.

Too comfortable to move...Hyia's computer kittens.

I got them up at 5 am this morning so Columbus could have time to eat his fill, do his toileting, and have one good romp before his long car ride.
Here is his last romp with his mates.

His bag was packed and he was ready to go. Missouri has cared about you Columbus. Enjoy your new world to explore, have a happy life. Your a lucky kitten, you hit the jackpot for a new owner. Thank you KCPETPROJECT for everything you have done for them. Thank you Shannon for taking him along with you all the way to Zoom and Sawyer.

I better get arrival..new home pics or I will come and beat you up. ((((HUGS)))) happy for you all.

He's there already! Wow! I'm so glad.

Yes he did and he is getting more and more tolerate of her touching him, because she lays beside him and places her feather soft toes on him and falls asleep. She tends to sleep with him more then just about anyone.

It was a long day of clock watching wondering how Columbus's travel was going. He got there after 9 pm. Zoom posted two pics on facebook where she introduced him to her workmates before she took him home.

Ressie seems to understand to not jump on hm, not pounce on him, not pat Victor's tail. She is the only one that gets that. This morning she rubbed her cheek against his ear. Sweetest thing ever.

Glad to hear Columbus arrived safely. Sounds like Ressie knows just how to warm Uncle Victor up to her:D

For all the sisters out there....Onya and Ressie

5 mnutes before. Doing what I know sisters do best. vid

I wish I could have had a sister growing up. Even my brothers were grown and for the most part moved out. I envy those of you out there that have a close relationship. It must be such a blessing. My nieces are both having their own children at the same time, and share and support each other just as they alwasy have being only a year apart.

My friend tells me and Hyia how to make the little cat toy balls out of sheep wool. SHe combed it out the night before and brought me a good supply. In case anyone else wants to know I thought she would not mind of I shared this.

Love the video of the 2 sisters!

What do you do with the ball after you've rolled it tightly and soaked it in warm water & squeezing it out?

You give it to the kittens or cat once it is dry. IT is Ressie's most favorit toy of all. As soon as Ninja comes out and sees it she steals and stashes it somewhere. Once I looked and looked and looked and couldnt' find it anywhere. After Ninja's nap she ran out with voila..the ball. Kelly combed the wool thinking Hyia would like to make the kittens some toys and then when I get these teapots down, i could try felting. I dont' know if it is because they smell the animal in the wool or the fact that it is super light, but they all love that ball.
