Poor VIctor ends up sitting on my lap for protection.
IT is Sawyer that might need protection. Columbus loves to stalk anything that moves. What will be funny is seeing Sawyer try to direct that where he wants it to go.
Pepper is a never ending surprise isnt' she?
Almost 8 weeks. Tuesday I will have to make my appt to take them in to see the vet for shots and micro chip and see if the man I spoke with, I think his name was STeve is correct in my being able to keep them until they are 12 weeks. Maybe it doesnt' make that much difference for their surgery, but it sure seems like a month would be much better then not. 12 weeks is sturdy. 8 weeks is still baby. AT least to me. I am going to so dearly miss them all and Hyia will be a hundred times more so. SHe sleeps with teh whole bunch around her and watches the computer shows she checks out from the library with Columbus. He is her tv cat. Onya is her cuddle buddy (that is what she calls the other white one) and tiger, who I call Mr Clean, makes her laugh. Then there is the wild child to spice the whole bunch up. She needs a better nick name.I need to get their code number so I can start asking people.
Hyia asked one person if they liked cats at the library, he said "I shoot them". She asked another if they liked kittens, and they said not when they turn into cats.
I think it is good that the kittens have the experience of being told to GO AWAY by Neccy. They are learning that some dogs like to be pounced on, some just want to be left alone. I have worried that if they are super dog friendly will they run up to just any old dog.I do believe that they read Neccy very well and only have tried a few occasions to pounce on her or her chair. It only took being told once before each one got the message loud and clear.
I think Ressie might need a third worming, she is the only one that is looking like a pot bellied pig, she had the worst of all of them. I wish she woudl play this gentle with her litter mates. She makes them cry. She says good night all. SEe you in the morning.

HE got himself in all kinds of fixes during recess this evening.

ah..nana..i think he is stuck this time.
and group shot fails.
someone always jumped off. They don't get "stay" very well.
will tray again tomorrow. I drug this whole big shelf home beause I thought it "had potential"for getting an interesting group shot. There was No cooperation from the peanut gallery tonight.

They have eaten and played so now it's about time for everyone to go back to bed..since it's raining, and early I think me too. Victor and Pepper are still under their sheet, they have no use for rain.

a camera is a box with a hole in it, it's what you do with it that counts.
My teacher told me that. I personally feel content makes a 30 dollar pawn shop camera a o k with me. I wear one out about once a year. This one is beginning to sound like I feel. So it might be time to go hunting. I want exactly the same thing. I do however not like the flash on this one. So all are not made the same. quiet time with me

we could send it to a publisher and give all the profits to kcpetproject.

I don't see why not...yyou could use that thread as reference. Tell about their personalities..and how they made you feel. And how we cared for them. You should make an outline first, a time line.
Even about asking people if they like kittens and what their answers are.

I think the book is a great idea. Amazes me how people can be cruel and think it's funny, especially when it's a child asking. Maggie used to have to wear a patch on one eye, it was ALWAYS the adults who would make rude comments and make her feel bad.
Love the group shots. But my fav is Ressie and Sancho looking at the rain...precious.

I am very superstitious about when an animal chooses you. ANd when all the pieces start falling into place, I feel it must be the right thng I am doing. When they are not, I seriously need to back up and take a hard look. Will cut his nails and get him all gussied up for you.He will be past the gassy we just got wormed stage too. Oh my can ilttle kittens fart big farts.
Somebody got on my desk. SOmebody got mason stain on her side. SO somebody got a bath since I don't know if it would hurt her or not to wash it off. Do you know who that somebody is>
