THe kittens go to Zona Rosa for adoption on SUnday. I am going to drop them off at 9 but if they are not chosen, i am going to pick them up, bring them back here until the next weekend so they d not have to endure the shelter environment. It just ins't necessary.
I don't want them there..tho they are a dedicated staff. I only have high praise for all of them.

They are lovely :D if the other half didn't hate cats so much I'd probably get one. Boo. Although, I am allergic to a lot of cats, so probably not wise!!

I am allergic to everything. When tested it was 29 out of 34 things. ANd they didnt' even have mold on there and that is what kills me dead every spring to fall. I took shots for dogs for years and years. The nurse said she knew when I was coming because every body else got this much, and she held her fingers in a near pinch, but you...get this much and she showed a ton more than that. That was the ONLY thing I tested not allergic to that surprised me. Trees, grasses, dust mites, blah blah blah. So I keep the cats clean, and I don't think they make me any more worse than my planet God love it, does. I adore the air after it frosts. I can breathe down to my toes and it is just heaven.

ONe doctor did have these drops that were formulated to my needs. It was suppose to take aabout a year to build up tolerance and they were making a difference but during one of Hyia's crisis I just lost myself, and everything else and the bottle and I never got back to it. I see my doc in another week and will see if I can start over..

Look what Ressie found. I don't know where she found it. It was part of a hair tie that Hyia wore when she was in grade school. Rssie growled like a cougar and wanted to play with it so bad, but everyone kept coming to see what she had and she would grab it up and run to another room.

WHen no one was looking however it was hers hers hers. I did take it away from her a few times and give it right back. I have had more than one cat attack me when I tried to remove something live.

So do you think she is going for gold eyes?

As soon as Huck's leg finishes healing, I'm going to build him a kitty castle of boxes.

Good luck with the adoptions! Good people need these kitties.

The kittens love both, the babies love both. Kind of a win win there.
Those two little tabbies are such peas in a pod I have picked up the same kitten 3 times in a row to cut the nails before they go up. They pur as soon as you touch them. Feeling sad today i am. I sure hope this is a good journey for them. I hope they don't get scared. Now lets see if I pick the same one up a fourth time. This is getting silly. I said ok..the one with the ed sparkly ball.i just did that one. THe one with the black rabbit ball is the one. But no....wait. Surely I didn't do the other and forget I did it.
THey are all over the living room having early recess.

Well they are there.

Saying good bye. HOpefully. THey are the youngest ones there. It's a little bit overcast and a tad rainy this morning but only scattered showers so that is in their favor for people choosing to do something inside. LIke look. Lots of cats. Lots of kittens. THe volunteers thought the white one Anya..i had no idea tha'ts how you spelled it until Hyia wrote her bio. YOu ought to tell me when I screw up like that. ;) I got them up early, fed them well, let them have lots of excerise, double checked their nails. Packed their photos. I never did get the sketches done...just too much babies, and not enough me. Kitten and human variety. Too tired to be creative. But I had good photos and Hyia wrote sweet bios and drew a pic of each one and colored it in. i put them in an envelope and taped the most recent photo to the front so there would be no confusion of which is which.

To sum this day up without a rant, that was a fubar. The paperwork was not there, the kittens sat all day with a not available sign on them, I came to pick them up and no one know anything. SO big fat sigh. They are happy to be home and REssie is thrilled. I guess it was a big dry run. Will do this again apparently next Sunday. AT least they might know what to expect. THey looked confused there. Ninja cam,e home and found her ball stash. Now maybe I can figure out just exactly where she is putting them. I looked all over so I could send their toys.

WHen I saw the not available sign I thought it mean they had all been adopted. WE waited around about a half hour because it was very busy before we stopped a volunteer to ask. In the meantime Hyia visited with them, and with the other cats and dogs up for adoption.

REssie's solo rescess time. SHe looked and looked at the door where she usually waits for them but this was a good distraction. I amped up the club house a little with some new things and she played a lot with SAncho.

So anyone interested in another week of kitten pics and vids..we will be here.

SHe has become a family project. Mom has agreed to cover her vet and food costs so Hyia can work with her as a therapy cat. I will get a leash the beginning of next month and will teach her. Then I will teach Hyia..and we will see how it all goes, She is staying. It wans't suppose to happen, but it did and I love her with all my heart. Mom wants to see her often and wants to see Hyia do this. She made it possible. IT is a very good next step for Hyia to learn and seh is at the right age. Cross your fingers that it works out..even so she will be well cared for. I would like to see her blossom as Victor did. THerapy cats are big in demand and hard to find.

She found a great home. I think Hyia will do great at therapy work, she sounds very friendly and personable:)

That she is.
Mr. Clean is glad to be home.

No complsints from th peanut gallery. Her house is muxh more fun with her siblings. They have gone to bed with Hyia, and she is now curled up asleep inside the playhouse. Tomorrow is another day.

SAncho cannot be encouraged to put one foot inside of a cardboard box, no matter how much fun it looks like they are having.

I truly wish they could find homes and not have to go through that ordeal again. A sign not available; what the heck was the person thinking that did that. Maybe they were meant to be back with you this week. Hugs
