Hmmm ..

Gwinnywillows IS a person named Carole.

She used to post in here with the handle "Manchesters".

http://www.chazhound.com/forums/member.php?u=4785

She posted photos from her website back then, including the one of the dobe head she posted in this thread.

In glancing through her posts as Manchesters, she wasn't any nicer back then .. *L* .. and hasn't posted under that handle since November, it appears. And she started posting as Gwinnywillow in December.

Why the subterfuge, Carole? *L*

And thank GOD you would never own a GSD, only the most worthy individuals should be so blessed to share their lives with such a wonderful breed...
That is just how I feel about it. Thank you. I can't stand blanket generalizations.

Oh phooey......and I was having such fun trying to act like a dodo! Giving everyone the chance to act so superior, and try to prove how little I know and how dumb I am. And insult me and belittle me!! Oh...Gwinnywillow is the name of the village in Ireland where Mary Creamer was born.

Although I still say Chows lumber, ;) Sorry for the ruse, but I guess some folks just don't feel that others are entitled to have an opinion or express an opinion...as evidenced by the reaction to what I said about Shepherds. That was what I hoped to prove. And of course now the truth is out, that I was not dropping names! I was telling it like it is, without telling ALL it is.

And for those folks in Canada, the #1 Toy Manchester Terrier is out of my Bitch, Ch. Lou Gin's Sophie Tucker, who is sister to Robin and SHark. I sold her to Lou without slapping my kennel name on her. (Some Poodle fans might just remember Ch. Lou Gin's Kiss Me Kate?? That big gorgeous white Standard from years back?) Thus, I was not at all "bragging"....just again, stating facts.

Still nursing my stinky cold.....back to bed! And more Alkeseltzer Plus. I don't believe it!!!!!! My spell checker didn't have a fit over Alkeseltzer!!!!

Redy, I am curious....how many dogs have you bred that have finished?

Also, ya got any dogs that were ranked?

Any that got Club Awards???

Just nosey.
why?

Is any of that required to have any knowledge about breeding, structure, etc?

But I have no problem answering.

1) none I've bred 2 litters, one had no surviving puppies. The first litter is almost 10 years old, and had numerous health and temperament issues. Nothing from that litter was ever bred.

2) Nope. Is that a requirement for knowing anything about dogs?

3) Nope.

4)Yes you are

Gwinny I think you should see a doctor. That cold has been beating you down for far too long.

by doberkim: i also dont believe she left the board, i thought she was banned?
Yep, I believe so. She was banned back in early November, according to the posts I've read. Evidently she had to sneak back on under a different handle, move a few pictures to photobuckets so that she could show them without getting caught.

And this from a person who talks about how bored she gets - she goes to all that length to be here! *LOL*

As far as her dropping names ... well, I'm betting that those whose names she's dropping are NOT dropping hers .. *chuckles*

Such a pretty chow chow! She looks like she is having fun!!
Thank you both - she's been an extraordinary girl, and I've learned a lot from her. She started me onto my love for chows some 14 years ago, and I'll always have chows now.

RedyreRottweilers - love your backpedaling graphic! *LOL* .. SO appropriate!

Oh no, I feel that everbody is entitled to an opinion, but there's a difference between stating your opinion, and stating, as fact, outrageous claims against a breed. If your original statements had been that you feel that many GSDs are overangulated, that some of American lines have been irresponsibly bred, leading to health, along with temperament issues, I imagine we all would have agreed with you. As it is, you said that they are ALL deformed and crippled and unable to stand properly. You're entitled not to like German Shepherds, but you made a bunch of completely false allegations, as pointed out by Melanie (Alaska Lady to you), and then tried to accuse her of taking your comments out of context. They weren't taken out of context, we've all read the thread, you're simply backpeddaling in an effort to save face. Your continued references to those responding as a bunch of pet GSD owners, who obviously are unable to grasp what you're talking about are also somewhat offensive. I've probably forgotten more than you'll ever know about German Shepherds. I'm involved in rescue, so I don't own breed standard GSDs, but German Shepherds are my passion and my hobby, I've spent years educating myself on this specific breed, I attend shows, I know reputable breeders, I spend time DAILY furthering my knowledge and have been doing so for several years. Your lack of knowledge of the breed became more than apparent when you thought you would come across credibly by stereotyping the entire breed with your experience with a few American showline shepherds.

I thought Gwinnywillow had dobes?

Manchester terriers are not dobermans. The standards aren't even the same.

I'm confused.

You are correct.....anyone can finish a dog if they have the time, money and grit. That is why I mentioned in a couple of posts getting a dog ranked, or other awards which goes far beyond getting a championship.

Also, there are breeds where a championship actually represents quaility......usually the smaller less political breeds where you still find breeder/owner/handlers. The working breeds for the most part are 85% political. An owner/handled Dobe is just building points for the pro handlers. And since most of the judges are former pro handlers there is a bit of a clique situation there.

However since you were simply trying to make me look foolish, I guess I should just tell you to stuff it. If you knew anything about the show world, you would not make yourself look like an idiot by trying to make ME look like an idiot!:D

I may be a bitch, but one thing I am not is a hypocrite!!!!! I cannot help it if you have no one else to clue you into how things happen in the show venue.
