last summer we were out for a number of days..way too many. We had a tornado hit blocks away from my mothers house..go back up and come down hit and miss for miles..the damage was intense. We found out that our powerlines had been held together "with bailing wire and twine" as the newspaper said, that it was inexcusable for them to be in such sad state..what makes it worse is we are in a very wooded region, thick woods with dicedious trees..the one in my mother's front yard is several hundred years old and towers over a hundred feet. I am always amazed when i see the whole sky because i am so use to seeing it thru the tree branches. I hope she gets her power on soon. It seriously sucks when it is out. I was so hungry and home alone, aaron was at his fathers...you don't dare open the fridge at first, then you open it and empty it out afraid to eat any of the contents. Then the neighbors bbq and you sit on the porch with your mouth watering at the smell, but they were new and i didn't know them and they didn't say hey come over...Bronki, mary and i were stuck because i couldn't get ahold of
aaron, was afraid he would come home and go downstairs wich was flooded with water. I couldnt get to the fuse box to flip the main switch and was afraid that his extension cords would be submerged. If he came home, went down and the power came on...well that is why i didn't leave until i saw him. I think we were out for almost 10 days.
