Google led me here. I was searching for information on dog food, and Chaz website was among the first things that came up. I stay mainly because it's a great way to take a short little break from work when I needed one :)

While I'm not able to response to every thread, I do try to skim through them.

Oh, by the way, I am owned & loved by three precious little mutts, Mocha, Missy & Muffin & a stray cat, Mitten.

Hey,

I saw some other familiar faces and I thought I'd join up on the fun also!
I know I don't talk about Pepperoni (My puppy, btw) much, but since she is with my uncle now (she is still mine..just not living with us ATM), I don't have updates on her daily and stuff.
But I know I stayed because everyone is nice and I like it here. :)

I googled Rainbow Bridge (just lost my 13 year old Airedale Jack) and ended up lurking for a couple of weeks.

I joined when I got Scooby who is a Miniature Schnauzer. I picked my user name for the Obvious reason that I 'Miss Jack' my real name is Catherine and I'm not particularly fussed whether I'm called by my user or real name.

As I'm new I guess people here don't know me but I am enjoying being here

I've come back every day because my family and I seem to share the same dog care principles as most members on Chaz.

I'm also enjoying the fact that a lot of members come from the US and Canada as most other forums I'm on have more UK/European members. I'd like to say that's because I'm intellectual and want to compare and contrast the differences and similarities in our cultures. BUT really I'm just a very very nosey person who's too poor to travel so has to be nosey from her sofa!

I don't post much about Scooby partly because I'm too busy reading about everyone else's dogs and partly because at the moment I don't really need any advice about him.

I found Chaz when MaffiaPrincess sent me a link for some pics of her new pup. Ended up joining & posting about one of our rescues in need of a home. I mostly just browse the forums & post every so often.

I have a 4 yr old chocolate lab named Echo, who I love to death:D

I joined when I had just moved to the US. I was not working and we had just gotten Teddy as a puppy. I had always been interested in dogs and wanted to talk with people that had similar interests.

Google led me here. I forget what I was looking for, but we had just gotten Xena (pet store puppy) and I was looking for info on something. I like the community and take the good with the bad.

Xena is a Dal/JRT/Fox Terrier/Chow mix (according to the pet shop). Just a great big mutt either way.

I came here looking for information on doggie dandruff. I had no idea it had to do with the food I was feeding and learned a great deal on just one thread. So I stayed to see what else i'd learn and got to know some people. The people here are just friendly and so full of information. It's a wonderful experience being part of Chaz.

Hmm, I actually think a friend of mine found Chaz and gave me the link. However she never really got into the whole "forum thing" and left, but I stayed. I guess I more lurk then post, I don't really know why. Max is my Keeshond, and he's 11 years old. This thread has got me thinking now that I only really post pictures of him, and never really just talk about him...maybe I'll change that :)

I don't remember how I got here :) I think it was a link from a different dog forum.
I just like learning about everyone. I have a young sheltie and we are beginners at agility. She hates strangers but loves her family--very timid and reactive. And very, very smart.

You guys are great :)

I found Chaz through Google, looking for a place to get out my doggy-love and talk to people about their dogs. I was getting very frustrated with not having one of my own, and in a way wanted to live vicariously through others :)

I stayed because everyone is so great!!! Once I finally got my dog it made it much easier to really open up and take part, and I've really started to feel like I belong!

And just for the record, since everyone else is doing it: Sierra is my dog. She's a 1 year old hound mix that I adopted in October. She's very playful, very cuddly and can be VERY sassy! I'm hoping to get her involved in agility come springtime and I think we'll have a lot of fun.

I originally came to Chaz I think mostly for the opinions on dog training.

I've stayed mostly because Chaz has become my family. Apart from competitions, I'm not as enthusiastic about ALWAYS talking about my dogs, and I'm so busy mos tof the time I simply don't even have time to really keep up my online freindships. :(

I found Chaz through Sizzle. We had both belonged to a couple other forums and both them were, well, let's just say, not quite what worked for me. Chaz is a lot faster paced and most of the people are very knowledgeable. I like the fact that Chaz isn't anti breeder (I mean decent ones). Some of the other places I've been have been very pro-rescue and either aggressive or passive aggressive about it. My dog Django is a rescue and his future sister, will be a rescue most likely, but it's nice to have other options and not having to worry about getting raked over the coals for it.

I originally came here because my mom said we could get a 2nd dog, so I wanted to learn about different breeds, puppies, that sort of thing. Then I think I kind of disappeared for quite a few months, and didn't come back until after I had gotten Lucy.

No, I don't talk about my dogs much on here. I think I used to, but then I just kind of started to enjoy random chatter more. I never have stories about my dogs anyway, they don't really do much lol and I am far too inexperienced to give advice on anything. I love reading about other members' dogs but I guess I just never have any 2 cents to throw in.

I looked on google cause we got the internet and I was bored and wanted a place to talk about Lucas and dogs.

Now I stay out of habit mostly, with some people I really like.

I came to Chaz through Google wanting a place to come for advice after getting Molly (poodle/retriever mix). It had been quite a few years since we'd had dogs and wanted to learn as much as possible to have a really good dog. As we're getting older, she is probably our last dog, so we have to make sure she is a wonderful trained girl in case anything happens to us - we know people would be lined up for her. Molly is going to appear in a local production of "Annie" and goes for her first rehearsal tomorrow evening. I'm so proud to have such a wonderful pet - she is more than I ever imagined. I don't post very often, but I check out the posts every day and enjoy the forum.

Another " Annie " dog !!!!! Bubba was " Sandy " .......was so much fun !!!! Let me know how the rehearsals go !!!! I know the play backwards and foreward !!! Since Sandy is a stray ..... I made a rope collar ( sorta like a slip collar ) that was easy for Annie to handle . Molly will make a great Sandy !!! I may be able to help you out with some of the scenes .....Bubba was sure afraid of the police man , so when Annie kicks the cop and they run off scene , Bubba was the first to go !!! When is the production ??? We had 3 months of rehearsals and had 5 shows and 2 matinees . I'm excited for you !!!!
