My 12 year old daughter is in "Annie Jr" at her middle school. She's actually at rehearsal right now. We offered Xena as a Sandy, but she's a little too rammy to do that job, I think.

Another " Annie " dog !!!!! Bubba was " Sandy " .......was so much fun !!!! Let me know how the rehearsals go !!!! I know the play backwards and foreward !!! Since Sandy is a stray ..... I made a rope collar ( sorta like a slip collar ) that was easy for Annie to handle . Molly will make a great Sandy !!! I may be able to help you out with some of the scenes .....Bubba was sure afraid of the police man , so when Annie kicks the cop and they run off scene , Bubba was the first to go !!! When is the production ??? We had 3 months of rehearsals and had 5 shows and 2 matinees . I'm excited for you !!!!
Thank you - yes I'm very excited. The production is in April. I hadn't heard from the producer so I didn't tell too many people because I thought they might have found another dog, but they called and this evening I take Molly from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. I think Molly will love it - she is such a happy girl and loves people. She completed Basic Obedience, Tricks and Advanced Obedience (now just have to make sure we keep practicing). I don't have a clue what to expect but feel it will be a wonderful experience. I'll post the details and let you know how things go.:)

She'll have a ball back stage with the kids too !!! I mostly sat back and just watched .... giving suggestions only when needed !!! I'd let Bubba romp in the woods and creek and let him look " unkept " as the stray ..... In the first scene that Sandy appears from backstage ...Annie calls as she's eating her apple .... I gave her small treats and Bubba learned to go right to her ...... same when the cop has Sandy and Annie calls him by name the first time ......I've got other hints as you move on . Eddie ...you must be thrilled too !!! Does Annie Jr. follow same script ??? I'm going to start a new thread ....so we don't hi jack here !!!

Yes, it follows the same script. Annie Jr. is the same story. They trim out some of the more complex numbers and hit the highlights. It's geared toward being presented by a younger cast. She was in "Guys and Dolls Jr." a couple years ago. It was great. The students work so hard on it and it shows.

I came to Chaz originally because of a thread started by someone over from Game-dog that was becoming heated. I stay because its nice to be on an all-breed board that isn't insane or overly judgemental. LOL

Wait a hold-it, Baha . . . . are we talking about the same board? Or are we just not trying hard enough? ;) I mean, really, how can you consider a board that has discussions (with polls, no less) about peeing in the shower, threads about RuPaul for President and some of the other stuff that has spawned lengthy discussions NOT at least slightly insane - in the best possible way? ;)

Or do APBT people have a totally different definition of sanity from the most of the world? (Probably why I like you guys so much, lol)

There are different levels of insanity, like there are different levels of hell. I can deal with up to level... uh... 6. Its when we get higher than that that I start worrying. As much time as I spend on the evil box (aka, the computer), when I start avoiding a board for several days to avoid poppin a vein, you know its bad. I check here a few times a day, so by my personal barometer for insanity, this board is fine. ;)

I found Chaz doing a google search for "dog forum" I believe.

I am one of the "guilty ones" who doesn't post much. I joined back in 2006 and I only have what? 600 posts? LOL..bad me, I know. BUT I am trying to become more active here again.

Found it with Google looking to see whether there were alternative reasons for dogs eating grass other than poor nutrition or an upset stomach.

Don't talk about my dogs much/post pictures much because I'm never around them except maybe a month out of the year. And this year I won't get to see them at all except for maybe a weekend or two :(

But once I get into an apartment and feel I'm stable enough financially to own a dog, things will change.

I found Chaz... when I noticed my other pet forum was going DOWNHILL. Like, fuh reals. A friend from my other forum told me about it, and I totally prefer it to the other, and basically any other I've seen.

There is just SO much knowledge here... SO many great members... with SOOO many amazing, adorable dogs, and a huge variety of opinions. I actually like that there are occasional debates on Chaz. Debates often (not always) lead to learning, and that is the number one reason that I'm a member here; I have learned so much more from Chaz than from any other forum.

I hope my dogs aren't some of the "unknown" ones. I definitely don't post as many picture threads as I should... but their Dogsters are in my sig. ; D

I don't remember how I found it. I don't give out too much info on myself, or my dogs, because I am a pretty private person. I enjoy the debates and hearing everyones opinions on different subjects.

My dog, Ella, is an american pit bull terrier.

I joined Chaz because I was linked to it by someone who was on another board with me. I joined because the other general dog board that I'm a member of, was not making me feel good at the time.

I like this place. The people are funny, and for the most part, nice and no one here discriminates against dog breed.

Yup, we are that, lol, in all sorts of ways :D

That's something I'm extremely proud of our members for . . . We've had some who were, and they've either moved on or, for the most part, were intelligent enough to start to open their eyes and listen and learn and changed their minds!

Gamedogs, Bahamutt, Miakoda, SisMorphine, LuvinBullies, Ghost and quite a few others from the APBT world, not to mention Love4Pits, had a lot to do with that. They really have made this board a much better place. :)

this is definitely one of my favorite forums.

I wanted to say, this is totally OT, but I just noticed that I have over 1,000 posts! WOW.
And I wanted to say that if you guys start noticing that I'm not on here very much, it's not because I've left for good or that I don't like you guys anymore, but it's because my school schedule is so screwed this semester and I'm SUPER busy. I plan on being back more in the summer.

I LOVE CHAZZERS.
