Yay for Bunny! :D Good for you!
Don't yay me just yet. :)

I am still waiting for a definite yes from my fiance. I am pretty sure we will be going but I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch as the saying goes and end up disappointing everyone if it does not work out.

Everyone keep those fingers crossed and those infamous Chaz Vibes coming!

Bunny, just get her pulled. Don't try to talk him into keeping her, just be the ones to pull her and get her started on her trip to Texas. :)

LOL that is what I am trying to do. :)

He did a lot of overtime this week and a six hour drive (roundtrip) is seeming long to him. If it was just once that would be one thing but the two or three time thing (having to go back) he is not thrilled about that part.

I got a lot of convincing and buttering up to do. ;)

Talked to the shelter earlier, they stated there was one application on Lizzy. Would that be from a chaz member?

No, that app was already there when I called, Rotten. Definitely not a chazzer. The person I talked with assured me that it would fall through, though. Meh. I don't know what to think.

Good news! We should be heading out within the next hour or two. :)

Now we need those Chaz vibes that we get approved for the adoption and can pick her up once she is spayed. :)

Really bad new guys. :(

On our way up there we got a flat and by the time we got the stupid thing fixed there was no way we could get to the shelter in time. :(

I have contacted a few rescue groups requesting that they let the shelter know a home and transport has been arranged in the hopes that will buy Lizzy more time so we can pick her up.

I am also going down to the SPCA tommorow and speaking with someone there to see if they can "pull any strings". It's a long shot but worth trying right?

I don't know what else to do. I feel lousy. I let you guys down and I let Lizzy down. I am so sorry. :(

Bunny, you didn't let anyone down, you tried and that means a lot.

I'm placing a call to my granddaughter's other grandmother. I just realized she has relatives in Maryland, maybe they know someone who can help. Keep your fingers crossed. Hopefully we can get her out of there some how.

I guess maybe leave a message on their voice mail so they know you didn't just change your mind and decide not to bother?

If you can't get back up there, who's next in line to spring her?
