I wanted to share a little of my less-than-perfect dogs and some issues we've faced. Maybe we can all bond through our not so great experiences:D

I'll get the party started. :)

Ruby-Regurgitater/attention vomiter. Random house pottying. Digs holes to China. Likes obedience class, but can't stay worth a darn. Has decided that chewing on your head, ponytail, elbow, random appendage is the best way to get your attention. Will destroy Allie's favorite stuffy toy every time. Kills small animals in the yard. Dog reactive on leash. Sheds like it's going out of style (but she can't help that LOL)

Allie-eats EVERYTHING. Collects rocks and chews on them, someday I'm sure that I will have to remove every rock around my house to avoid surgery on her in the future. Jumps on people even when I have a hold of her, she's too freaking strong. Follows her nose instead of her brain. No such thing as loose leash walking. Afraid of buildings, things hanging from the ceiling, loud noises. Seasonal allergies. Nobody is a stranger. Refuses to take no for an answer about getting on the furniture. Thanks to her daddy, will steal food off of your plate if I'm not around.

Noodle-overly shy. Still prefers to potty in my house instead of outside (she's 3). Will steal any and ALL food off of any surface if you leave her alone with it, even for a second. Doesn't listen to you if she doesn't like you (me). Would prefer to run down the street to Grandma's house instead of getting in the car with me. Refuses to sit on any surface that doesn't have a blanket/carpeting. Steals the blankets. Refuses to eat in her crate, would rather starve than eat when it's given to her. When you sit down, she is automatically in your face. Will only walk on grass if she has no other choice. Will suck her foot at night if her crate is in your room.

Doesn't mean I don't love any of my girls any less! Just thought like sharing in case someone was feeling "alone" in their doggy behavior issues :)

I can't wait to hear what everyone else has gone through:popcorn:

I'm bad.... sorry.

I've had Molly since she was 8 weeks old and she was quick to be housetrained. I took her to basic obedience classes and she graduated but I am easily manipulated by her. The one thing that causes me grief is when she goes deaf when she sees one of her dog friends and is more than 6 ft. away from me - she's gone. I've had to resort (I'm embarrassed to admit) to yelling and running in the opposite direction "okay, bye see ya" - she turns around and comes right back.

I remember these things randomly, so I may post more than once on this thread. lol

When Maddie was a puppy she shredded toilet paper and tissues like it was her passion... ugg Also when she was a puppy she submissive urinated sometimes. That was embarrassing, but she grew out of it and/or socialized out of it.
She also used to tell me she had to go outside every 5mins, even though she didn't have to go. That drove me nuts!
But that was all puppy behavior...

Now she can open cupboards down at her level, so she has ate almost a whole 40lb bag of dog food in one sitting. Twice!

Meg had a ton of confidence issues; most of them wouldn't have been an issue for the average pet owner, but as I wanted an agility partner, it took some serious work. As far as typical behavioral issues - really none. I was lucky!

ILSA
- she likes to puke in the morning if I don't feed her fast enough
- she has a talent for eating things she shouldn't... like a bag of hershey's kisses, a shishkabob skewer, 10lbs of dog food in one sitting...
- she takes fingers when you give her a treat
- she DEMANDS to go outside - RIGHT NOW - when she has to potty
- she hogs the bed
- she doesn't like training buildings. No matter how well trained she is, she "forgets" it all in buildings and turns into a lunatic. BUT she's getting better - she did very well the last time I had her in a trial building!

RONIN
- separation anxiety issues (not so much anymore, thank goodness though!)
- crashes through the house, knocks things over
- has no concept of "being gentle"
- pulls like the dickens when he wants to get somewhere really bad
- doesn't walk down stairs - he insists on JUMPING down them. Grrr...
- He bounces when I'm trying to hook him up to go potty - it's hard to get a leash on him.

ADA
- she's shy, submissively urinates sometimes (but she's getting a lot better, now that she's actually getting socialization)
- her bark makes my ears bleed
- she doesn't do in her crate when I tell her to... but that's getting better too
- she takes forever to potty.
- she isn't exactly obedience trained... but again, we're working on that. :D

But guess what... I LOVE 'EM ALL! :D

Well well... confession time ;)

Sierra is still not 100% house trained. No more pee accidents, but she still has poop accidents from time to time. Usually they're our fault as we miss/ignore signals.

She's dog reactive. It's unreliable, and I can't seem to figure out the pattern. Some dogs I'm SURE she'll freak out at, and she doesn't. Others I think "Oh she'll be just fine with this one" and she embarasses me by being a monster. And I mean MONSTER. She comes with me to work, but doesn't get to come out and play nearly as much as the other dogs because of this. She sits in her crate under the counter growling/barking freaking out when she hears a dog come into the store, making me incredibly frustrated and sad while doing so.

She still jumps up on people.

She's DEMANDING! If there is an empty bowl on the floor, she throws it around and barks at me. It gets her nowhere other than getting the bowl picked up, but she does it anyways. She also demands to go outside when she needs to pee, throws toys at you when she wants to play, etc. etc.

She LOVES to french kiss. Be careful to make sure your mouth is tightly closed when she's giving you kisses ;)

luce was a maniac when i got her. so dog-reactive that she'd literally vomit. and scream. but the vomiting was more impressive. she destroyed her first crate. it took me awhile to get her fully housebroken with regards to poop. and it took her until the age of five and a half to be able to be left home uncrated without my having to fear that she'd go through a window. but she's a really fun, good dog now.

mushroom's issues have mostly been (and still are) with confidence and fear. he has gone through some pretty big issues with being fear reactive toward other dogs while on leash, but that was the result of him getting attacked. he didn't come that way. he was totally housebroken and crated easily from day one. in many ways he's been SUCH an easy dog. oh. except for nail trimming. but again, that was a confidence thing. he was freaked out and would get mouthy (not ugly, but it still hurt). that was something we had to work through very very slowly, but we were successful!

We might be here a while...

Izzy:
-If any of the dogs goes outside to potty, she has to go right then too!
-Eats anything
-Gets snarky with the other dogs over stuff she can't have (food on counters, etc.)
-If she doesn't feel she's had enough exercise she barks and paces until I either crate her or take her out for more exercise
-She worries like no dog I've ever met
-Wants to go out all the time
-Ate a whole loaf of bread, lost control of her bowels and sent herself into shock (two times)
-She decides what is an appropriate time to get up in the morning and makes it known that she wants out the the crate NOW
-Won't let me fool with her back feet without a fight
-Has earned the nickname "sharky" at flyball because she bites hands when trying to take treats
-Charges the baby gate growling when Inky is behind it even though she likes Inky
-She barkscreams at people and dogs outside, all. the. time.

Frodo:
-He is loud. No matter what he is doing, he has to be loud while doing it.
-He countersurfs
-He's reactive to people and dogs
-NO recall at most places
-Will door dart when my mom is trying to take him out
-Will chew wires if given the chance
-Will not let me touch his feet
-You have to guess when he has to go out
-Barks a lot
(Wow. This list is a lot shorter than I thought it would be! lol)

Both:
-Chewed the ends off the coffee table
-Pulled up a floorboard on my PORCH
-Pulled up a bunch of my kitchen tiles
-Chewed like 3 inches into my wall in the bathroom
-Ruined the front door by clawing at it when looking out the window

Sawyer: Used to have moderate seperation anxiety, but we worked through that. Now we're dealing with some leash reactivity and his idea that small dogs are squeeky toys.

Virgo: Um...I don't think I have enough space.

Hmmm...

-Still tries to nom the cat.
-Shreds dog beds.
-Occasionally barks at odd hours of the morning when he decides he's bored with sleeping.
-Barks when the doorbell rings or someone knocks. (This is a new thing. Drives. Me. Insane.)
-Chews shoes if we forget to put them up.
-Pesters my clarinet student during her lessons. Sticks his nose in the bell, forces his head under her hands, leans against her chair. If I crate him during her lessons, he howls while she plays.
-Eats the cat food.
-Whenever I brag about how well behaved he is, he almost always responds by ignoring commands and doing the opposite of everything I say. :rofl1:

Sarama chews holes in the bed room rug. Only in the bed room rug. She's stopped now, but we are afraid to replace it . . .

Oh, and if she's occasionally, if she gets excited when she's not had a chance to burn off energy go into Space Cadet mode. She'll not just not listen to me, she'll appearently literally forget I exist. Its incredibly annoying. My fault, but incredibly annoying none the less.

Boo is actually a remarkably good dog, but there are a few minor things that can be annoying at times.

-If she really has to use the bathroom, she won't tell you, but will go inside. Doesn't happen too often, but we just have to be good about remembering to let her out.
-She is afraid of thunder, fireworks, and loud noises (not too bad when she's inside, but outside on a leash she is absolutely terrified)
-She doesn't always like to get out of the car. The more often we take her out on trips, the better she is...
-She doesn't like strange people coming into the house with big stuff in their arms: equipment, guitar cases, boxes, etc.
-she trips you in the dark because she is IMPOSSIBLE to see. :rofl1:

- No recall whatsoever.
- Extremely scent-driven. His nose is on the ground 24/7 and there is absolutely nothing that will get his attention. No treats of any kind, praise, favorite toys, nothing.
- He loves people and dogs too much.
- He loves to french kiss.
- He will pull on the leash like a comet crashing to earth to get to anyone he wants to say hi to or to just sniff something.
- He chewed up our floor and wallpaper as a pup, thankfully he grew out of it.
- He's very good at demanding attention. If you pretend to not see him, he'll jump up into your lap and try to lick you to death...
- Doesn't like getting his nails trimmed.
- He HATES water, makes it quite difficult to give him baths.
- He's got a bit of separation anxiety so he can not be left alone in the house for more than a couple of minutes as he will destroy things, like our doors that he scratches when he tries to get out after us. He's fine with being left alone if he's crated though.
- He likes to chase anything that moves that is smaller than a cat, especially my parrot..

Kona is a good dog. Most of the time.

She has so far:

- Ate my couch ONCE (Pics to prove!)
- She's leash reactive. She likes most dogs offlead, but once she's on lead every dog can go to hell.
- She's a barker. We allow her to bark at things to aware us, but every time the door bell rings, or there is a car outside, she goes into "barkbarkbarkbarkbark" mode.
- She likes kitties a little too much
- She's reactive to men in uniform. So far she has chased off a police officer and a UPS man.
-She's VERY VERY VERY demanding. If she wants anything, she wants it then and now, no exceptions, or she'll do the Jedi Mind Trick on you. This includes food, pets, and getting Daddy to pay attention to her.

Other than that, she's a good girl.

Unreasonably afraid of many, many things, people and animals.
Frenzied alert barker at inappropriate times (people talking in a room he's not in, people walking up stairs/down hallways, shadows, doors opening or closing, car doors closing, anything that sounds like dog tags, absolutely everything in the dark)
Moderately (but very audibly) food aggressive.
Grabby with treats.
Constantly sniffs the ground and completely blows me off when he wants to smell something, even when I have food.
Marks when I don't want him to when I'm too far away to stop him.
Posessive over furniture and toys with dogs other than Zero unless they have seniority over him.
Refuses to leave places when it's time to go home by standing in one spot.

There's probably more, but those are the most annoying aspects that come to mind.
