- Sleeps ALOT, she would sleep allllll day if we let her.
- Demanding for my dad's attention. (can't you tell she is his dog? lol)

- Lately, attached to my hip (well in his case my shin bone lol)
- He eats EVERYTHING. He vacuums our house at least twice a day to look for "leftovers".
- Likes to pull on this leash sometimes, but we are getting better.

LOL. I'm sticking to my theory that if they weren't so stinkin' cute, nobody in their right mind would own them! :lol-sign:
Not only that...They do sucker strangers in. Mine wag their tails harder for people they don't know. Once they have ya, they show their true colors. :hail:

Hmmm, where should I begin? lol!

Rylie:
-Eats poop
-Sometimes pees when she gets excited... I ignore her for a few minutes when I first come home.
-Barks when people are outside our door, and when someone comes over... used to hide under the couch and bark at people. We took the legs off the couch to end that. lol.
-Will grow and snap at Chloe if she disturbs her
-Takes off fingers when giving treats
-Whines and struggles when I clip her nails

Chloe:
-Steals dryer sheets and tissues
-Throws up if I go too long between feedings
-Whines in the car... takes her a good 10 minutes to settle down.
-Overbearing... constantly wants to be on top of you. If she wants to be picked up and you're standing up, she will jump up and down over and over again and whine. She "talks" and makes noises to try to get attention.
-Can jump over mostly anything. We have a large breed dog gate because she can clear all of the others.
-Occassionally (once every couple of months) will pee on the floor
-Eats slow and gets easily distracted during her meals
-Barks occassionally when Rylie barks... but she's actually a pretty quiet dog most of the time, surprisingly.

Past behavior that hasn't been an issue for a while:
Rylie- chewed the charger for my laptop and fried the motherboard... and she chewed up a heating pad cord... other than that, neither one have ever been chewers

My pup is only 4.5 months old and he is doing great but....the other week I had him loose for a run around in the back yard before I left for work. I was all dressed to go I eating soup from a bowl as I walked with him. He went into the bushes and didn't come out. I went over to see what he was doing and he had rolled in probably racoon or something poo!!:yikes: I picked him up and off to the shower. Dropped him in the tub, sprayed, soaped, towel dryed and into the crate! Yuckkk.....he was so pleased with himself. He thought he looked great. My last dog a shih tzu did the same thing one day on a walk,,.disapeared under a pine tree for a sec! Ugg....dogs love to roll in gross things...

Ha ha! I can totally relate to poopsicles. Jose` is my one and only poo eating monster boy. It is truly gross. I do clean up the best I can, but I have a lot of land and lots of woodsy, grassy places where you don't always see it....that is until...the little munch mouth is eagerly obtaining this succulent snack. It's only Chulita's poo that he eats as far as dog poo. Goose or moose, he's not particular about whose. If I catch him, I tell him, "leave it." And give him what I consider to be a better treat. LOL. Hopefully, I choose one that he and I agree qualifies as a better treat.

Other than that, Jose` again ....has a tendancy to fall off the recall wagon every now and then and it needs to go back to school for a few days. But it's not really a big deal.

The other thing that I have a little hassle with is how all three dogs really yap when someone comes to the door. They stop pretty well when I say "enough." (they need refresher courses in that too) But sometimes start in again. If it's my son (they can tell) they can't contain themselves. He doesn't follow instructions very well and when he comes home, he falls down on the floor and grovels with them, giving them exciteable and fantastic affection and play. So, it's one big hooplah when he comes in the door. So they anticipate this tremendously enjoyable time. Once he's in the door, they stop barking and start bringing him toys, licking and clamoring all over him. Oh well, I guess there could be worse things. I just don't have the wherewithal to fuss with training them more in the face of such nonsense.

They all lick a lot. I can get them to stop right away with "enough" or just turning away. But other people get licked and I tell them to stop paying attention to them and say, "enough" and they say, "Oh...I don't mind." LOL. Same old story. So, oh well. Again, not that big of a deal, I guess.

Toker loves rolling in disgusting, unidentifiable carcasses or poo. I really never know for sure what she acquired on her fur or where exactly it came from...somewhere out in the woods or pasture. She did this for about a week straight in summer....every day was getting bathed. Then it stopped. Personality wise, she's sweet as a rose.

So, thankfully, that's about all I can think of where I have any problems. As far as problems I've ever had???? Well, I can't remember or maybe I've blocked some things out of my mind out of necessity....to prevent me from losing my mind completely. :rofl1:

Argon
-Barks at strangers in this really low grunting bark. It's not quite agressive, but it is strange. But he only does it when they are more than 15 feet away, when they are close he...
-Runs behind me and hides, whimpering whenever a kind stranger approaches. Sometimes tries to climb my legs
-Hates his crate with a passion. Is quiet when he is in it, but does his "legs of steel" impression when I'm putting him in, bracing on the sides. Yes, I've tried many things to make it more appealing.
-Slips collars-found out when he went running down the highway, crossing at least twice (four lanes :yikes:) after pulling out in front of a store. Miracle he wasn't killed
-DA on leash, though he is improving. It is still embarassing to have to drag your snarling dog into another aisle. Particularly hates Huskys.
-Very slow bonder, still slinks away from me at times after being corrected
-Wants to help me clean the litter box in the worst way
-No recall, doesn't seem to understand his name at all.
-Jealous of Puss. If Puss sits next to me, Argon jams his 25 odd lbs in my lap and demands attention.
-Swats at me with front feet for attention (improving)
-Tries to climb onto stove to help himself to canned cat food. (Cat may mutiny and attempt to smother him one night :))
Still, he is 150% improved from the dog I brought home a few weeks ago, and I am confident his improvement will continue given the chance.

Its soooo gross, but it only happens in the winter , usually when I'm not watching well enough  Usually a leave it works, but if I'm not there to say leave it... apparently its fair game! lol

We had to play the knock knock game to teach all dogs to be quiet. They could do it individually, but when all 3 get going, someone has to have the last yap, and they all think it should be themselves! lol

LOL!

You're lucky it only happens in winter. Although....Chulit's poo is usually quite firm and dry so it doesn't make a mess on Jose`'s outside of his mouth like the time I saw an episode on It's me or the dog...Victoria Stilwell. Those pugs on there were getting it smooshed all over their chins. Extraordinarily gross. LOL. I'm so lucky. I don't get that. Soooooo lucky. LOL. And speaking of kisses (the other thread)....well, I won't speak of it.:yikes:

Using treats to teach "enough" or "quiet" really helps them to all stop barking at once. Mine do but they sometimes pipe up again. However, the whole "trick" does tend to regress if I don't give ample review quizzes. And I'm pretty terrible about keeping up on some things.

Muffin

- Lives for food.
- is deaf when she's sniffing the ground or chasing the cat. If I want to get her attention, I'd have to either yell out "cookie" or "Bye bye Muffin".. then she'd stop for a second to look at me. If she sees that there were no cookies and that I'm not going anywhere, she'll turn her ears off and resumes whatever she's doing.. If there are indeed cookies or that I'm walking away, she'll turn around and follow me.
- Eats grasses & cats poop if I don't catch her in time.
- Destroys stuff animals! It's her passion. First thing she does is to remove the eyes and nose buttons. Then guts the entire inside through the open holes! According to her, stuff animals are for destroying, and thus they should not last for more than 5 minutes.
- Loves to lick toes :) Only my mom's toes, though.. She thinks my mom likes it (while mom hates it!! :). I think it's funny the way she waits for my mom to stand still, then attack her toes!!

Missy

- lives to play balls
- is dog reactive
- Can't control her bladder when she's super excited. I don't think she means to pee, but a few drops will drip out
- Never lies down on hard floor. She'd only lie down on her hoomans, or soft blankets.

Mocha

- Lives for attention
- Prefers to be handfed by me than eating by himself. Every night I spend about 5 minutes hand-feeding Mocha & Missy, while Muffin eats on her own. Missy also eats on her own during the day, but this is Mocha's only meal.
- Always wants to be the center of attention.
- Guards his beloved stuff animals against Muffin (for the formentioned reason).

Oooo.... fun!

Gonzo
- Obsessively herds dogs that he doesn't know or doesn't like. I mean, OBSESSIVELY. And it isn't just stalking, it's chasing/circling/barking. He never touches the other dog, but dogs still don't appreciate it and it's frustrating for me, because re-calling him off of that is very difficult. A lot of Obedience work has made his recall off of herding other dogs very solid, but sometimes it's like he can't even hear me, he is so over-stimulated and "on".
- Has difficulty passing other dogs in Flyball. He has come a long way with this, but I don't think he'll ever be 100%. He knows not to chase, and he acts embarassed afterwards and quickly checks himself, but once in a while he will just do it as if it's a knee-jerk reaction.
- Becomes infuriated when other dogs are playing fetch or interupt him playing fetch.
- Very fearful of large, boisterous dogs.
- Fearful of children. (he is much, much better with children now and even gives kids kisses, but when I adopted him, he would pee at the sight of little boys)
- Extremely sensitive. This is something that will never change. He is very quick to shut down, if anyone is stern with him... his sensitivity has it's upsides and it's downsides.
- Wary of strangers in our house. Again, this has it's upsides and downsides. He has to be slowly introduced to most people, particularly people who are not dog-savvy.
- Obessive about cats/ferrets/bunnies/small animals. This is to be expected with his breed, and with some work and desensitization he gets over it. Luckily, he is very gentle with small animals, he just enjoys staring at them.

Fozzie
- Mildly guards food from other dogs. I say mild, because he doesn't ATTACK them, he just gets pissy and this is the ONLY thing he gets pissy about. If I'm giving him a treat, and another dog tries to push him out of the way and steal it, they are going to hear about it!
- Ignores me. He is very much a dog who wants to know what's in it for him before he complies. He is, however, super food motivated and somewhat praise/tug motivated.
- Will not fetch for the life of him. After hours and hours of trying and practicing, I still have to go through all of the basic steps (get him super amped, throw, race the other way, treat him) for him to complete a fetch. He just doesn't find joy in it.
- Is obsessed with chasing the hose. At first he was scared of the hose, then he realized he liked it, now he worships it! Even if it's 40 degrees, he will run up to the hose when I let them out and stare at me with pleading eyes. If another dog tries to chase the hose while he's doing it, and they get in his face, he gets a little bit snarky.
- Digs. He really, truly loves to dig... massive holes. Every fall/winter, he goes excavating in the woodsy part of our backyard. It's not like he's ruining the grass or trying to escape the backyard, but it's annoying to clean him off when he gets caked in red, clay-like mud. D;

-Licks holes in her legs.

-Used to chew the furniture.
-Dug up a section of the carpet.
-Digs holes.
-Humps Chevy's head.

-Pees, poops and vomits everywhere.
-Her and Zane shredded a roll of toilet paper.

Mary
severe seperation anxiety took years of working with her even so i still take her to the sitter rather then leave her alone.

Pepper runner door dodging manic licking

Victor heck on mattresses.. has destroyed three when i showed affection to other dogs not my own.
In the beginning he bit (hard) if you dared to reached for his toy and skittish over every single little thing. Fearful over loud sounds epsecially. Flailing feet and refusal to stay down. He was a mess.

WE focused on each problem one at a time until we conquered it. Pepper is all good, Victor is all good, only Mary still stresses when left alone for more then a couple hours. I will never understand why. SHe wouldn't even settle when she was left with her mother or father (dogs). Now she doens't shred things or race about the house but she does pant hard and stress shed. WE are lucky we have had GG all these years to take her in when i had to go.

Maggie May- she sometimes submissive urinates, she was absolutely terrified of kids to the point of yelping her head off when one came near. But we worked through that. She is a barker and a howler who LOVES the sound of her own voice. She is terrified of men and usually won't let them touch her. She did go through a period last summer (after we got Sawyer) of peeing in our upstairs hallway almost everyday. It was really gross and it made me mad because she was never one for accidents. She did eventually stop. I think she was just p!ssed about the puppy honestly.

Sawyer- He's a puller. Im trying to work through it with different collars but its been a process. Its especially fun when a leaf skitters across our path and he lunges for it. He's a jumper.....THough he never jumps on me, my dad (when he visits), and Lindsay. Because they are the only enforce my no jumping rule. Everyone else allows it against my wishes though and so that makes Sawyer think everyone and anyone else is free game. He chewed his way out of his plastic crate. He jumped up on to the counter and ate a whole sheet peanut butter cookies. He also used to vomit for attention.

oh gosh, and here I was just about to make a thread on here. :D

I know Finn's still a young'un, but problems are still problems. I'm working on most of them.

- jealous of the small animals. Especially the ferrets. His crate faces their cage, and he barks murder when they play together.
- eats mud. After rolling in it.
- Aggressive-reactive-psycho to spray bottles.
- PULLS on leash like a madman.
- No recall.
- Impulsive jumper.

Summer:
-Obsessive Licker. I mean OBSESSIVE. She is always licking something (even the air). At the least I've been able to redirect her to licking things other than me.
-Separation Anxiety
-Dog Reactive/Low tolerance for other dogs.

Beau
-Really his only problem is that he's a big time humper. It's annoying.

Nard
-Marking
-Destructiveness
-Extremely stubborn with no interest in you or food most the time

Rose
- Fearful of large dogs
- Fearful of some strangers, especially men. She really WANTS to be friends, it just takes her a while to become okay with men.
- Easily (I mean very easily) spooked or goosed. You have to be so careful picking her up or she'll squeal.
- At first had some space issues. If you'd come at her too fast she'd growl. Another fear issue.
-Submissive peeing, but that's about stopped now.

I think all of those have to do with her past. It makes me sad sometimes.

Trey
- Resource Guarder - he's gotten better though. If you are not smart about taking something away from him, though, he most definitely WILL bite.
- Extremely shy and fearful of strangers to the point of hiding when someone new comes over
- Nippiness and very motion sensitive
- Slight neuroticism and OCD. He has a few weird 'rituals' he does every day.
- Extreme hatred of the vacuum cleaner (He attacks it).

Sawyer has decided things are too calm and orderly without Virgo and has taken to knocking over the wastepaper baskets (I fault English for this one, since he's started to slip him Starbursts candy and Sawyer is nosing through the empty wrappers for more) and occasionally tries to rouge something from off the counter or out of the sink. Since he's a good deal shorter than Virgo, he just ends up breaking a glass.

Happy makes a googling starved child face if someone is eating food and he isn't.

If you are handling food, as soon as you make the motion to remove it from packaging or raise it to your mouth, this somehow actives a "sit command", as well as a "stare command".

Other things I can't bring to memory right now.
