I think my questions were pretty obvious... they are the sentences that end in a question mark.
My points are also pretty obvious as they are the rest of my post.
So veggies aren't nessesary but you then talk about how great corn is.
so your comfortable feeding your dogs euthanized dogs.
Thanks you answered my question.

What were those? How long have I used other feeds? That ranged from a few weeks to several months to 2 yrs. Canidae, Wellness (pup), I used those each about 5-7 months. CORE I used for about two weeks before it did a number on the health of my dogs. I have tried Merrick, used that for about 4 months. One bitch lost her coat on it so I had her on a different diet (Purina ONE). We had a bitch whelp 4 premature, unthrifty pups early last year. She was eating Merrick & while doing ok on it herself, the pups were a mess. Sticky stools/diarrhea, scabs/hot spots on their coats (and thee pups were maybe 2 weeks old), she was loosing more milk every day. I tried her on Purina ONE and the problems immediately subsided. More milk, the pups coats healed up, they were gaining weight and had no more loose stools ... I coudl go on and on and on. I had major problems with Canidae, Back To Basics, Timberwolf ...
As for the ingredients, I don't care. They're dogs, not children in fur suits. If you don't want your dogs eating processed foods, take them off ALL kibble, becuase no matter how you dress it, well ... how does that expression do? Still a pig? Innova is just as processed as Purina, just different ingredients. I am not convinced all those herbals and veggies are even necessary. I don't even believe that the ingredients in the Purina products I'm using are all that bad. Corn is an EXCELLENT source of lutein & B vitamins, and in ground form is highly digestable. It is NOT an allergen. If your dog is having allergic reactions to feeds, it's due to genetics, not diet. Sorry. This is a great article by Linda Arndt regarding corn in dog food:
