Nope. I played around with a friend's for an hour or so today. Feels exactly like my iPhone 4. The speed difference was almost unnoticeable and it doesn't really do anything my 4 doesn't. It really just feels like a very slightly taller version of my phone.

This is my third iPhone and will be my last. I'm sick of Apple's software and business practices, plus their stuff is getting boring, no matter how "beautiful" or "revolutionary" they may say it is.

I upgraded to iOS 6 on my iPhone 4 and there's nothing wrong with it. If they give me a good enough offer for a 5 with an upgrade in February when I hit my 2 year mark of my contract I might take it if it's really really good. Otherwise my phone is doing me well for now =)

One of my best friends has the samsung galaxy and it's really cool! I'd honestly consider it if I wasn't so lazy and used to the icloud sharing everything between my devices (macbook, ipad etc..)

I also had a small love affair with my blackberry they gave me for work. but it's true..blackberries really have gone down in quality as of late. Mine froze CONSTANTLY. UGH. Wish the **** thing would work because **** I love the keyboard.

Haven't got to play with the android very much though.. my brother has one but he is one of those very touchy people that cannot STAND people touching their phone lol

Android is waaaay more clunky & complicated to me then apple's IOS.

Does anyone have the galaxy S 2 or 3? (the comparable device to the iPhone) do you like it? Would you recomend it? I know at some point I wil need to upgrade but as long as it ain't broke who fix it, I can pass up my upgrade for now & always take it later if I have to.
My mother has the 4S and my brother has the 4, and while they're alright, I find them ridiculous to play with.

I have the S3. It's so much better to me. It does so much stuff it's ridiculous. Which is awesome, because I use my phone to do everything ever. The S3, specs wise, beats the iPhone over the d@mn head.

You can do that with the S3. Kies I think is a cloud sharing app, Google Cloud sharing. Hell, I've got an Acer, an Asus and a Toshiba and share stuff through all of them with Google, plus my phone.

Nope - I don't really like Apple's buisness politics - so I highly doubt I'll be buying an iphone or whatnot any time soon. It also irks me, that you can't even use bluetooth with other phones for example. Thats NOT the point of bluetooth. I have an acer laptop and don't own any apple products so it really wouldn't make sence for me to get one.
I love my android though!

I still haven't even bought my first smartphone so... no. didn't get an iphone 5. I really don't get the whole 'upgrade at the first day it's out' thing. I think I am too thrifty.

Eh. I'm not chomping at the bit for the 5, but my boyfriend really wants one and will probably get one as soon as he can.

I just got a 4s a few months ago and there's nothing on the 5 that seems revolutionary enough for me to discard my 4s and pay upwards of 700 bucks for the 5. If it's faster, cool, but I don't have issues with my 4s.

I'm not really an apple fangirl and will likely never own an apple computer (I think they're way overpriced for the quality) but I seriously adore my ipods and my iphone has been equally lovely. I liked some of the android phones I messed around with, but none of them were as nice (to me) as the 4s that I got for the same price.

My mom had the 3G and was due for an upgrade back in the spring so she waited for the new 5 and pre-ordered it back awhile ago.. needless to say, she was more excited than a kid on Christmas Eve. She loves it, and it's a big improvement from her old one.

I haven't gotten it yet, but it's already on hold waiting to be picked up. (We have a friend on the "inside" that got them for us early. The only catch is that he lives four hours away, soooo we don't get them until next weekend when we go visit. :p)

I've heard that it isn't a remarkable upgrade from the 4S, but considering we are still using our 3G iPhones from 2008... It's kind of a big deal. :rofl1: For instance, a lot of the basic apps don't even work on my phone anymore. Like the built in Map app? Yeah, I can't search anything on it because it's SO SLOW that it locks up every time I try a search.

So I am pretty freakin' excited. LOL

I Have a EVO 3D and Chris has a EVO . We are waiting until the S3 price drop to get him one of them. I have another 1.5 years on my phone and I love it actually.

I will never have another iPhone until they have bigger screens and I hate hate hate there itunes .

for the ones needing a Itunes account with a credit card ,get a prepaid one and activate it and leave no money on it , lets you register an account , just wont be able to buy anything.

I'm getting it for Christmas! I'm so excited for it! I've got a 3GS ATM so it'll be a decent upgrade for me. As long as I get a case for it I should be fine lol

Had a Galaxy but just got an iPhone 4S. Decided to try the enemy before declaring Android the best.

Besides it was only $100 for this phone XD

Honestly I really like the iPhone. I probably won't get another one it just feels like... a Smart Phone for Dummies phone. I made the mistake of upgrading to the iOS 6 and totally regret it. Granted I should have researched better. But now I have a sub par map app that has trouble understanding that towns near me are real towns. I also now have a HORRIBLE youtube app that can't make the video full screen without everything going totally pixelated that was kind of fixed by using Squrl but not totally.

The camera is nice. And since my last phone was the original Galaxy the phone was a huge improvement. The keyboard is responsive but insanely slow after using Swype for so long.

I get why people like it but unless Apple REALLY steps it up, and I mean REALLY, I can't see myself getting another iPhone.

No way. Not worth the cost to me. I currently pay $30/month for unlimited everything. Not willing to upgrade to the cost of an iphone. Even if the phone were free, and even on my super awesome sprint plan, it would still cost an extra $250/year (or $500/contract cycle) for a phone that does nothing additional that I need/want in my life.

Zach's office gives them all free phones (he just gets to pick anything off the verizon website), so once the company vets it against security policies and federal security regulations he'll bring one home that I can play with if I feel like it.
