Did you get the iPhone 5?

Would it still work as a wifi hot spot for my laptop? I use my 4 like that now, I was going to get a galaxy but I googled iPhone 5 & now since I love my current iPhone I might stick with it... If you don't mind my asking... How much was it? The only thing I don't like I'd that you have to have an apple ID Account to buy any games or ringtones or anything... Which requires a credit card that I don't have 
Hahaha me too or (god for I'd because I love it) something happens to it or a really good upgrade offer comes along ... My weakness has always been electronics, tech, gadgets & entertainment lol.
Like I said I was goin to get a galaxy but I love my iPhone so much that I might just stick with them... How's the battery life on the 5? For me (I surf on my phone a lot) that's a biggie.

Lots of friends had issues with their 5's and the related iOS 6 upgrade. Primarily with the email app, by the sounds of things? Apple controls a lot of the software you have to use for file extensions.
All too familiar to me. I'm sticking with Android.
(Nothing against folks who use Apple products. Seriously. I just have a big beef with their ongoing limitations on accessibility that are masked by a nice interface and functional, but not extensive features.)

I have a 4S right now, but I doubt I'll get the 5. I don't like them at all, but I need to actually physically play with one before I make a decision. The only reason I got the 4S was for the camera. (And because it was free.) I had originally wanted the Galaxy Nexus. Apple makes everything they do sound so revolutionary. It drives me crazy.
Android is waaaay more clunky & complicated to me then apple's IOS.
Does anyone have the galaxy S 2 or 3? (the comparable device to the iPhone) do you like it? Would you recomend it? I know at some point I wil need to upgrade but as long as it ain't broke who fix it, I can pass up my upgrade for now & always take it later if I have to.
I didn't get thr 4 S because apt of ppl were saying they had probs with the battery life & such. I love my 4 tho... It always works great, it's easy to use & thr IOS is solo much faster then android. I have always liked apple products... I had an apple computer back in thr day when they still called them Mac's lol would love to have another one but they are so darn expensive since that guy died.

I'm honestly not even sure HOW I did it, I just know i have one without it, as do my mom and brother LOL
