URG no Florida baby needs a orange jersey they all need Garnet and Gold GO NOLES! LOL

But Nancy shes the second type she screams her head off and pushes away from the nurse anything she can do to discourage it. They did it about 20 minutes ago so i should know in a few hours. I hope they dont make me put her in the hospital :(. They are also talking about supplementing her diet because shes still 10 oz under her birth weight. But she is pooping and peeing alot. I just hope it went down shes looking alot better but I know that really doesnt mean anything.

And smkie my brother was the same way. He had to be under the lights thankfully for only a day because they continued to breastfeed him, mom was at that hospital every hour, hour and a half to feed him.

It's never fun when you have to see them get stuck with needles. It's cliche to say...b ut it SO much worse for the parents than it is for the babies lol. The night before Hannahs vaccinations I didn't sleep AT ALL. I was so worried about it. When she got her shots she cried for a moment but once I picked her up, cuddled her and gave her her binky she calmed right down and didn't seemed bothered by the needles at all after that. LOL so it's way worse for us parents.

I am sorry they may have to put her in the hospital. THAT is very hard and nothing anyone says will make you feel better about it. it's the worst but the nurses are just as good to you as they are to her. When hannah was in the nicu I spent 10-12 hours a day there, I only went home to sleep. And the nurses were great. they don't mindyou being there or calling.

HOpefully her levels have gone down though :)

Its beutifal today Luckily and we are sitting outside as I type this her asleep in her swing swinging away tanning LOl and me on here trying to stay relativly calm waiting for the dr. to call.

And Sparks I know what you mean OMG that is the first time Ive cried in forever. I didnt even cry during labor but hearing those wails OMG they did me in. But during her shot she just wimpered let out a few tears and once I grabbed her hand she just layed there for him and almost fell asleep. Its only her blood drawn that she cried like that.

I agree about the orange jersey. We don't need anymore orange down here, and especially with any blue mixed in!

My son would agree with you that garnet and gold are the right colors to look for. After all, he's over there spending our money at FSU as we speak.

I happen to think red and black looks great on everybody though!!! You might want to consider that.

I hope the sunshine does the trick for Beverly!

She is just beautiful, by the way!

Awww!!! How sweet!!!! I know you have fallen completely in love with her!

Well, I guess if I can't convince you that red and black is the way to go, garnett and gold is next best thing!:)

We brought up our son (well, all 3 kids) as Bulldogs, and now he's been swayed by the garnett/gold crowd. At least it wasn't blue and orange!! It took him a year at FSU. He spent his first year there watching the Dawgs on TV on Saturdays, but he's fully immersed in everything FSU now. He still loves the dawgs, but they're definitely second to the Noles now.

Breeze... unless her bilirubin level went significantly up I'd be very surprised if they hospitalize her for it. The insurances don't want to pay for in patient photo therapy when they have those portable home photo therapy beds that work just fine. Hopefully her level has started to come down.

Are you eating healthy and often so your breast milk will be rich with nutrients for her? Remember to drink plenty of fluids, that will help keep your milk supply up. It's okay if you have to supplement her... sometimes momma's breast milk isn't quite up to snuff for the baby to gain enough weight. You can always do both.

it will fit... they're no bigger than a large suitcase. Hopefully you won't even need that. Maybe her level has dropped to 10 :D If they try and tell you she has to be hospitalized ask them about the home photo therapy. You'll be so much more comfortable at home, but you will HAVE to keep her under the lights all the time except feedings, diaper changes..etc.

One child has swayed slightly from the path, but at least he didn't go to the dark (or orange) side!!

Is your mom still at home with you all day, or has everyone gone back to work? Is it still 6 weeks before the doctors release you to drive?
