Best Argument against Intact Dogs.....ever.

Yup, it was part of the reasons I was SOOO Glad to have Marq neutered, and soooo upset that he had so many complications with infection afterwards (well, obviously firstly concerned for his health) that his swelling wouldn't go down. I wanted the swelling and all traces of those things GONE. Lol.

I NEVER want an intact dog again, especially a male. Ew. :p Dustin also has a very very big distaste for intact male dogs. He likes to see the equipment gone too.

Ahhhhhhh, but even when they are neutered they love to do boy things.......Django would groom his manparts thoroughly and then go give Ryan weiner flavored kisses.

LMAO!

try having a NEKKID intact male lol
its a good job hes only 6lbs, if he was a larger breed and nekkid...i think it would be realy weird...
luckily because of his patterning you dont realy "notice" them lol.
im not sure i could have a standard xolo though, nekkid doberman sized lol...
more for the comments than anything else. personally i dont mind testicles...jaspers feel a little like velvet :rofl1:

as a side note, i do wish when they neuter theyd do a little but of a "testicle tuck" so they dont have the saggies...
MOST dogs after awhile they tighten and shring and become unnoticable...but on some dogs they get those little saggy bits for the rest of their lives and it looks like they were just exposed to something REALY cold :(

I just don't like seeing the really droopy breeds gaiting at dog shows. Is that weird? danes especially OMG.

Slosh slosh slosh... I couldn't do it. I'd HAVE to have a female of one of those breeds. I love having longhaired dogs btw.

I've never heard of a dog 'rubbing' on people...

I've only had one intact male dog, and he didn't really do anything, lol.

Pete was neutered.

I do have Tobi, however. But his haven't dropped yet...Despite that he did have a humping problem for a little while, lol. I'm not exactly excited to see what he does once his drop...

Lol, when Pete was neutered at the Humane Society he came from, they got rid of every clue they ever existed. xD
I didn't have to deal with his "testi's" or the saggies. :rofl1:
I'm really glad they did, I would've been really grossed out.

I still remember being at my training club and seeing a standard poodle in a continental cut with bows in his top knot and his balls bouncing around.

The only thing I could think to say was "that's just wrong"

I've been having to desensitize Rocket to the balls exam, so I've been doing it. I was stacking him in the hallway the other night with my husband watching, so I asked him to touch the man parts.

"NO!"

Me: "But Jeremy, to be successful, he has to stand for exam by a judge."

"NOOOOOO!"

Me: "I need the help if he's going to be successful!"

"I don't even touch MINE and you want me to touch THOSE!?"

Me: "YES! They are covered in hair and dry, what's your problem?"

"They have STUFF all over them!"

So to torture him, I've been "examining" Rocket then trying to touch him with the same hand. And I'm been teaching Rocket to show daddy his balls: "Rocket? Where's daddy? Go show him the money!" to which he happily runs off and shoves his butt in daddy's direction.

:rofl1:

Oh lord, I need more hobbies.

How old is Tobi? Most puppies have descended testicles by the time they go home, although some are 'late bloomers'. If they're not down by 5 or 6 months, though, I'd assume that he's a cryptorchid and you'll want to have him neutered at some point. (over time cryptorchid dogs have a higher risk of testicular cancer)

Ah, nothing as bad as the stallions though. One at the barn is particularly...endowed. As it, comes out the other end of the AV. And when he's working and they get sweaty, the thwap from side to side hitting his legs. So you get this steady, wet sounding smacks that everyone sort of tries to ignore.

I used to housesit for an intact Border Terrier, and he would gleefully rub his endowment all over the bed at night with this very pleased look on his face. He quickly got kicked off the bed and slept in the living room. There are some things I don't want to see.

Smudge frogs out and rubs his belly and parts on the carpet at times.. My worst is that he'll lay on my lap and I'll be rubbing his belly.. and suddenly touch exposed penis because he got relaxed. Uh EWWWW.

I got over my testicle phobia, I'm some kind of perv, I accidentally touch them while petting him or picking him up..

He's almost 3 1/2 months old, so I expect them to be dropping within the next couple months, hopefully.
I expected to get a female, but the breeders surprised me with a male, since they "mistook him for a female"....Is that a bad sign? lol

I have accidentally groped the boy dogs before too. But there's just something icky to me about big shorthaired dogs and their stuff. If I ever get a mastiff type... has to be a girl. :p

I, too, am confused about how they could mistake him for a female...the penis is right there in the middle..... I once took a stray dog to the shelter and, when they asked me the sex and I replied female, I was met with a snarky "well how do you know it isn't a neutered male?" response from the kennel guy. I replied that she didn't have a penis, and he turned red and walked out the door:p

I'm not phased by testicles, even though I prefer my own dogs don't have them. There's an elderly Basset that comes in to work that has gross bits though..they're droopy and nearly drag the ground

What's really bad imo is every time we bring Beau in to the vet's for a checkup, they comment on how big his man bits are. He is very well endowed lol.
