mistook for a female...thats a...new one...hmm...
not quite sure how thats possible...its not like it looks that much like a belly button LOL
Lol, I know right? I mean, I can easily tell the difference.

I, too, am confused about how they could mistake him for a female...the penis is right there in the middle..... I once took a stray dog to the shelter and, when they asked me the sex and I replied female, I was met with a snarky "well how do you know it isn't a neutered male?" response from the kennel guy. I replied that she didn't have a penis, and he turned red and walked out the door:p

I'm not phased by testicles, even though I prefer my own dogs don't have them. There's an elderly Basset that comes in to work that has gross bits though..they're droopy and nearly drag the ground

I was confused too, it was obvious to me that he was a male. Haha, I would have loved to see that!

Omg, that's sort of unpleasant imo. Haha!

I'm offended by Smudge's testicles when he's naked wanna be friesian boy. I prefer him to have just enough skirt that I can't overly tell.. I love danes. I don't think I'd want an intact boy bouncing around.

My first intact boy experience was riding in a friend's car, with her male chihuahua loose in the backseat. He stood on me to see out the window, but was like a 3 pound dog and still couldn't see. I scooped him up so he could look out the window and I majorly groped the poor boys parts. She has teased me for years about that..

I was at an agility trial back in september and testicles, neuticles and neutering came up between a few of us. We were watching an OEB wandering near the ring. Not a competitor. His testicles were so large that they pushed each other out of the way and forth as he walked as there wasn't room for them between his legs. We were questioning if they were neuticles...

A lady I know with a JRT had gotten him snipped recently. Her vet told her Spyder was so well endowed that if she wanted neuticles to replace the originals he'd have to go with the GSD sized ones.. She was dying that the vet even made the mention.. I guess going into surgery everyone kept commenting on how well endowed he was. Seems more male owners than you think get neuticles.. and spring for larger sizes.. eww.

Didn't James Herriot have a story about a small dog who got a lump or something on one of his testicles and it started growing bigger and bigger until it was absurdly large?

Honestly, intact male dogs don't really bother me. Its just a couple of glands, after all. :p

The biggest I have ever seen was on a sheep at the county fair. They were big enough that the sheep could have used them as a chair (and was, actually). I bet the farmer was happy with the extra wool in the shearing contest, though. :p

Noodle I had/have that same problem here. The hubby will not touch them on Ivan. But I love what you taught Rocket. LOL that is just too darn funny.

Although I totally agree with Laur that some dogs just have really ugly genitals, I prefer looking at that then... nothing. Ugh. Like just this penis there, and no balls to accompany it? It looks so perverse.

And my mom's dog has a little sackish thing, Foxy. I agree, it's awful.

My dog is intact. If he isn't excited (not in that way lol) his tail covers the backside, including the testicles. His testicles hang quite close to his body, do not do that "dangley" thing and are well furred. Also, he has a good abdominal tuck so his penis follows the contours of his body. I hate looking at a mandog with no tuck and the tummy just sort of turns into penis, and on those dogs, the penis points toward the ground more, or it looks that way. Ugh.

You know how they talk about toplines, well here are bottomlines, compare and contrast:

Now, he does get aroused easily. Like when he sits, half the time it just sort of comes out. But it goes back in when he stands. I still prefer seeing him horny all the time than to dangley balls or a penistomach. Or worst of all, noballs.

Just my 2 cents.

PS. what kind of dog rubs its junk on stuff, animate or inanimate? Ew. And that would be ew even if it was a female. I mean, I know some dogs drag when they have worms or fleas or whatever, but like... habitual rubbing? :yikes:

hey human males do it quite a bit, the difference , the choose to use their hand and usually do it in the privicy of their own bedroom :p

i do have to agree though, theres nothing worse than seeing an obviously overweight intact dog, especially in short legged breeds...the belly turns into penis...the testicles are just well...there and its all about 1/4 an inch from dragging on the ground...poor boys!

I don't think I could ever have a short coated intact male... you can't even see Tucker and Rory's junk unless they're on their backs and the hair is parted. Long coated males <3

They've never rubbed their stuff on any furniture or people, LOL.

I don't mind Blue's dangly bits at all. They aren't super low-hung and are the same color as his coat. One of my old employees had a black APBT with bright red nuts and it looked SOOOOOOOO wrong!!

Blue will sometimes rest his bits on people, but I have much more of a problem with him resting his butthole on guests.

Beau is the opposite... his whole body is bright pink but his balls are black. The only part of his skin that's black. Thank god he's got a long coat LOL!

This thread cracks me up! I'd never heard of a penis-stomach before. I'm glad that B doesn't have one.

When B was a puppy, the vet thought that neither of his testicles had dropped yet. Turned out one of them had, but it was just really small, lol. He's neutered now but I don't think his little furry balls would have bothered me.

I wasn't sure about getting a boy dog, but he's "my" boy dog, so his boy parts really don't bother me at all. Even when he tries to trick my into touching them.

My chihuahua nephew Wile E. Coyote's were HUGE and while they didn't swing around, the proportion to his body was awful. Not to mention they were like slightly hairy but more of a peach fuzz with tufts... And there was no possible way to have him on you without his balls touching me... Then all the clients i see that come in, big dogs with them swingin away! Grosses me out! I don't have male dogs and i prefer females, but if i ever do, they'll either have them chopped or they'll have to have long hair.

Oh and my bosses dog has penisstomach... Sometimes you don't know it's even there it gets absorbed right on in!

LMAO @ this thread...

I can't say I know the color of my dogs scrotums. = / Does that make me a bad dog owner?

Fozzie kind of has a stomachpenis or whatever you guys are calling it... not to the max, but it blends in with his "tuck". It's one of the things that disturbs me about early neuters. Their stuff just looks so demasculated and shrivled up.

Seriously? Poor Bailey could have been well endowed if I hadn't neutered him at 6 mos?!? ;)

Luckily, he still doesn't have stomachpenis.

Uncle Fred is exceptionally well endowed in the ball area. They aren't dangly though, at all. He has never marked in the house, does not hump except cute females in heat (well-any females in heat). He has never even thought of rubbing them on anyone, thank goodness. Until today I did not know this is even something I should be grateful for.

However, they are hard to miss. They are big, and pink and black spotted, and he usually carries his tail in the air, allowing everyone an impressive view. I just don't think they are disgusting at all. They are just a part of my handsome dog.

we have one old GSD at work whose nuts hang down to his knees. boy needs some tighty whiteys or something. some kind of support. icky. i don't mind nutties if they're high and tight, but saggy is gross.

steve's lone nutty is nicely covered by his pants. it is not bothersome to anybody (except my coworker who is obsessed with the fact that my dog isn't neutered yet).
