    thanks guys. i know now that it wasn't pippins fault, i am more to blame for letting her play outside on her own. The hutch was closed properly but it isnt very secure, so i bought new locks for it today.

    thanks princess poppy, i was just thinking the same thing. its just such a shame as bubbles was only 10 weeks old. ill have to keep a closer eye on pippin from now on and i certainly wont be leaving her in the yard on her own again.

    My puppy Pippin is now 4 months old and today she managed to break into my sisters rabbit hutch and killed one of her guinea pigs. I was so shocked. She has never really shown much attention to the rabbits and guinea pigs and has certainly never attempted to get into the hutch. I left the yard...

    I totally agree with you. I know that she is happy and excited, but as I have children she tends to nock them over when they shout her. Thanks for all the advice everyone.

    recalls are excellent. 10 out of 10 most of the time. even when out for a walk and she is distracted, so the main problem is how do i stop her from charging at me and jumping when i call her. and do i still reward?

    Pippin is great at coming when called, but just lately she has been jumping up at me as she comes running over. Im not sure whether i should reward her for coming back or not reward her because she jumped up. can any one help?please!!!

    thanks for all the advice and pippin is much better already. she has the lead on her all the time when i am able to watch her and is getting used to it now. we had visitors today and she was much better. she settled really quickly. thanks again.

    i did keep my foot on the lead and i asked everyone to ignore her, which they did. she get walked for 30 minutes, twice a day. but she is a very active pup. she never sits still until about 9 at night. she is always full of energy.

    thanks for the advice. i tried that when my mum came over today and after 30 minutes pippin still hadnt calmed down so i had to put her in another room. this is so frustrating especially when my mum insisted on telling me over and over that my pup was out of control and i wasnt training her...

    thanks. he doesnt have a crate but he has his own room with a safety gate on the door. she isnt too keen on putting him outside whilst she is out as he is a barker.
