    Care to guess the breed(s)?

Ha! He usually keeps himself on our bed. I'm retired and my wife still works (to support me). If I have to go anywhere, I put the guys in the garage. Charlie actually likes to do the "kennel up" thing, and Sam gets the rest of the garage to himself. We thought that was a good idea after Charlie...

    Care to guess the breed(s)?

Charlie has a small cage/kennel in the garage. A friend came over with his 2 young daughters. We both got to talking, and he said "look at that". Both of his daughters and both of my dogs were in the cage and the door was closed and latched. No worries at all. Yep. I love my guys - even when...

    Care to guess the breed(s)?

Duck Tolling Retriever! That's what we thought when we saw the breed on a dog show. But then you have those white marking on his front. ;=) Charlie (pic #2 thanks to Babyblue5290) was "supposed" to be a fully grown dog when we picked him up last February. He was a pup for sure, and still is...

    Care to guess the breed(s)?

Not sure if these pics will work. Apologize in advance if they don't. Both dogs came from the pound. Sam <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd34/Follies2007/Sam.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at...

    The Stuff

Is it any good. Had the dogs nails clipped today - 'cause I'm a coward - and the groomer suggested it for our Collie mix who seems to have a dry coat. (already using Canidae and oatmeal shampoo) Just wondered about your opinion. Thanks

    This is the poops

He sleeps in the house. He is crate trained, but the crate is going to stay in the garage. As far as the walk - he goes well over 15 minutes chasing tennis balls non-stop at night. Then he comes in and collapses (in a good way). Should I move his feeding time up even further?

    This is the poops

Collie mix from the pound. He's been here since March. Plenty of exercise. He's outside a lot, and has a playmate. Gets fed first thing in the morning and again in early afternoon. About every other morning we awake (early) to find he has given us a "present" on the carpet in the living room...

dog crapping all over the place

I don't think a dog can poop in multiple locations voluntarily. Pee yes, but not poop. I'm betting the stuff isn't "solid". How about trying a change of food, and possibly smaller portions? That worked for us.

    Canidae - and poo

Thank you, all. It looks like I will have to force myself to save a little money and feed the boys less. I've got a good pic of the "new guy" if someone would tell me how to post it. He looks really cute - when he's not eating our couch. Thanks again.

    Canidae - and poo

That could very well be, Herschel. The Collie mix was skin and bones when we got him, and we're trying to fatten him up a bit. His age is uncertain, but he sure acts like a growing puppy. Both dogs are in the 50 lb. range. How much and how often do you suggest? Thanks

    Canidae - and poo

Both dogs have been on Canidae for over a month. They seem to poop in 2 stages. 1st time is usually okay, followed by loose stool. And man, does it stink! The Collie mix still barfs every few days. Any suggestions, or should we just be patient? Thanks

    Dry skin on Collie mix

New friend from the pound. Started with Purina and switched a few weeks ago to Canidae. Had him bathed and brushed yesterday. Verdict was very dry skin. Any sugestions? Saw a beautiful Golden once. The owner said she gave her a piece of toast with real butter on it every morning. Think...

    Urin spots in grass

Found tons of stuff here. Not sure how valid most of it is. http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/tips/msg1123515119144.html I'm going to try the suggestion(s) of soaking the area with water as soon as possible and then sprinkling sugar. Thoughts?

Anybody ever use this stuff, and if so - does it work? Thanks Paul http://www.bringbackthegreen.com/?gclid=CJWK5uHP6osCFQstWAodM0N-VA
