Have you tried giving large bones for teeth cleaning? Works great for my 85 lb dog. She is not that aggressive with the bones, so i don't have to fear her breaking teeth, or swallowing large chunks. I give her the big knee bones, or the smaller cartilage type ones...with no preservatives...
