Ok, I may have been converted from "shaping's a pretty cool technique" to "OMG SHAPING" in a single trick. Since I didn't think I'd be stellar at luring this, I decided what the heck, I'd try shaping even though I'm not stellar at it.
Beginning of our session today. I'm using this wee drawer because our house is a tiny 1 1/2 story with tiny rooms and funhouse curves, so real doors aren't amenable to filming.

A bit later. Between the above video and this one I have heavily edited out about 10 minutes of sitting, staring, lying down, the cat wandering through, and walking over to play with Maisy.
