I want to believe that Juno's boxer nose helps with this behavior. I felt that my girls' pointy noses would become dented and mashed if I asked them to just do a nose touch. If only I had a squishy nosed dog my door would be free from scratches.
LOL you're probably right!! She loves bopping her nose into things like it's no biggie. I didn't even think of the physical advantage we might have :p

I kind of love her. Also, where should we post updated stuff from prior weeks? I have a sit pretty video but I'm not sure where to put it.

Hang tight with any final videos of the past tricks, I will start a new thread at the beginning of week 4 for final videos! Updated but not completed videos can go in the individual trick threads.

I know, right? Usually I put her in a down-stay on the futon in the background, but since she's struggling with shaping this I thought I'd let her watch up close and hope something osmosed into her brain. But she ended up just sort of hovering around offering sits and downs, lol.

I just spent a lot of time watching all the videos - what a great way to spend the morning!! Everyone is doing so great.

I'm going to try this one with Riley first and see how it goes... I've just got to find a door that I do not mind getting damaged in the process... I may get beaten up a bit as well. :rofl1: He's a paw whacker - but maybe he'll surprise me ;)

Okay, so Elsie already closes cupboard doors, so I started teaching Zobby to close drawers this morning. He is too cute for words.

Oh god. So cute. I love how the actual closing of the door is reeaaal slow.

And I don't know how I missed Tipper's video before. It looks great, and I love her little butt. :D

This is going to free up a lot of time in my schedule that I was planning to spend watching Maisy stare at me and wag her tail.

Ugh. I haven't worked on this at all since the last video I posted. So I just sat down and we have a pretty reliable touch on "Get the door".

Will give him a break and video the next session in an hour or so.

Zobby is really freaking adorable.

She has a bunny butt! Lol.

So I decided to use a bait bag (the velcro ones that hold food) as a reward for closing doors and WOW. I'm rather scared to try it with anything less sturdy than the exterior doors. And I'm a little afraid to video it in case she breaks someone's ear drums. Excited Tipper is excited. And loud. And violent.
