You have my utmost respect for that beautiful 4 strand braid!! I tried one the other day and had to quit before I broke something. LOL. Zuma is a gorgeous model.
UGH 4 strand is ridiculous!!! It took me THREE hours to figure it out... and once I did I was pissed that it was actually that easy. Watching the youtube video just ticked me off too because they made it look horribly easy and had inspirational "you-can-do-it" music in the background.

That's great! I feel your pain on making the 4 strand tugs. Man, that can be a pain sometimes. At first I HATED making them. Now I can find some de-stress in braiding them. That looks so great, though. :) And she's so cute.

Love it! It looks amazing!

I would be really interested in the video's you used to make this and the materials. I would love to make some group ones for our agility club.

4-strand braiding gets really easy after awhile. I made Finn's long lead by braiding mountain rope into a 30-foot 4-strand braid. :lol-sign: You get used to it after that!

I love the look of it, and that it's rounder than a 3-strand.

It's rounder, yeah, and I find the 4 strand round braid is a lot more pull-resistant. As long as you braid it nice and tight... And you know, I NEVER THOUGHT of doing a long line like that! *plans to get some mountain rope*

Ooh, I want to learn! I need to make a lead rope to go with the rope halters I'm learning to make and four strand is the typical way to go.

That is REALLY good!

I wish you luck. LOL

Once you get it, it's easy. For some reason I just kept twisting the strands in my right hand like I was doing a 3 strand braid and that's what kept messing me up.
